CHAPTER 36: CHAPTER 36: CALEB FAULKNER HAS ALWAYS WANTED TO CHANGE HIS MOM
"If you don’t let go, I won’t be polite."
"And how do you plan to be impolite?" There was a hint of anticipation hidden in Alaric Faulkner’s voice.
Damn it, does he think she won’t dare to do anything?
The strength difference between men and women was vast. Eleanor Sterling was maliciously restrained by him, unable to rise. The cramped sofa made the two of them intimately pressed against each other.
Eleanor ground her teeth and then bit down hard on Alaric Faulkner’s neck.
The neck is the most vulnerable place on a person, full of major blood vessels. A slight mishap could lead to ruptured arteries and severe blood loss.
Eleanor didn’t hold back at all, her sharp teeth piercing his skin, and the sweet, metallic blood immediately welled up.
She was fierce and forceful, nearly tearing off a piece of his flesh.
The intense pain made Alaric Faulkner inhale sharply, and he instantly tensed up his muscles.
The next second, Alaric Faulkner flipped Eleanor Sterling over, pressing her down into the sofa!
In the exchange of movements, Eleanor had already let go of him.
Her beautifully shaped lips were stained with blood, indescribably seductive and striking, like a demoness who feeds on blood, stunningly beautiful.
Eleanor looked at Alaric Faulkner’s deep black eyes, "President Faulkner, have you had enough fun? Can you let me go now?"
Their current posture was even more intimate than before.
He surrounded her like an impenetrable wall, leaving her no room to escape.
Alaric Faulkner reached out, gently caressing her cheek, and said in a deep voice, "If you’re planning to use your body as a trade to pay off your debt, then I accept."
Eleanor’s mind exploded.
"No, President Faulkner, don’t misunderstand. This body that’s given birth isn’t worth fifty million." Eleanor’s skin tingled with fear that Alaric might act on impulse here.
Alaric Faulkner raised his eyebrows slightly and said, "What if I think it’s worth it?"
Eleanor was at a loss for words. What? Alaric thought it was worth it?
"Think of Faye Sterling, think of Caleb Faulkner." Eleanor tried hard to persuade him to abandon that crazy idea.
"Caleb Faulkner has always wanted to replace his mother."
"Uh..."
"Faye Sterling could ignore my dignity today and do such a thing in public. Why should I care about her?"
Eleanor was baffled. The thing with Faye Sterling was entirely her plan. Hadn’t Alaric figured it out? Now he was pretending to be the victim to gain sympathy.
She never expected that she would end up deceiving herself.
"Faye Sterling betrayed you, but you shouldn’t give up on yourself!" After a long pause, Eleanor finally squeezed out these words.
"Shh! Being with you is not giving up." Alaric Faulkner gradually closed in on Eleanor, holding her face, his thin lips brushed past her cheek, slowly moving downward...
Eleanor instantly froze.
Alaric Faulkner stopped at her neck, finally burying his head in the crook of her neck.
Eleanor’s eye twitched. Is this revenge!
Alaric Faulkner was certainly upset about her biting him earlier and now wanted to repay in kind.
Eleanor clenched her teeth, waiting for the pain to come, but instead she felt a ticklish breath on her neck.
What’s going on?
She slightly tilted her head and saw Alaric Faulkner closing his eyes, asleep against her neck.
Eleanor felt like a thousand horses trampled through her mind.
Oh my god, he fell asleep?
But now he still lay on top of her, immovable as a mountain.
What should she do?
Eleanor reached out to push him, "Hey, Alaric Faulkner, wake up."
The man remained motionless, seemingly sleeping soundly.
Eleanor gritted her teeth, was he pretending or was it real?
As time slowly passed, sleepiness overcame her too, and she couldn’t resist closing her eyes, drifting into sleep.
After Eleanor’s breathing evened out, Alaric Faulkner opened his eyes, their sharpness standing out in the darkness.
Alaric Faulkner shifted slightly to the side, no longer pressing down on Eleanor, and finally held her as he closed his eyes.
