Eleanor Sterling laughed when she learned that Yvette Ray had decided to register her marriage with Ethan Finch.

Her whole being was filled with excitement, seemingly even more joyous than when she had registered her own marriage.

Seeing her like this, Alaric Faulkner couldn’t help but shake his head, "Someone who doesn’t know might think that you’re the one getting married. Why weren’t you this happy when we registered?"

Eleanor shot him a look, "How can you compare? Yvette is my good friend, of course, I want her to be happy."

She sighed softly, "Our efforts were not in vain; this play was worth it!"

Once Yvette and Ethan get registered, Ronan Keating will have no reason to hold on.

Seeing Eleanor happy, Alaric couldn’t help but smile faintly.

Eleanor is a warm-hearted and righteous girl; being her close friend is a fortunate thing.

After Yvette made her decision, she brought Ethan back to the Ray Family to meet her father and sister.

She hadn’t seen her father in many years.

Out of guilt, she could never face him, but this time she wanted to tell him that she had let go of the past, started anew, and he needn’t worry.

In the Ray Family’s living room.

Mr. Ray welcomed Ethan and Yvette.

Seeing her father with gray at the temples, Yvette’s eyes brimmed with tears, "Dad, I’m sorry for causing trouble for you back then."

Mr. Ray, looking at Yvette and Ethan, smiled and said, "It’s okay, as long as I see you happy, that’s all that matters."

"After we register, we plan to live on Serene Isle with little thane."

Mr. Ray nodded and said softly, "It doesn’t matter where you are, the most important thing is your happiness."

"Thank you, Daddy."

After leaving the Ray Family, Yvette felt unprecedented relief, as if a great burden had been lifted.

The two of them left hand in hand.

Two days later was the day of Claire Truman’s press conference.

Many invited reporters had already gathered at the hotel, ready for interviews.

They whispered among themselves.

"I heard there were changes to Ronan Keating and Claire’s marriage, now they’re holding a press conference. What do you think they’ll tell us?"

"Do you think the wedding might be canceled?"

"Probably not, it’s an alliance between two wealthy families, it’s unlikely to be canceled."

"I heard Ronan had a long-term girlfriend, but they later broke up. Do you think the delay in the wedding has anything to do with that?"

"Who knows, it’s hard to say anything for sure."

Claire had already arrived at the hotel. She was getting her makeup done, wanting to meet the reporters in the most perfect appearance.

In the backstage lounge, Claire was getting her makeup done.

"Claire, most of the reporters have arrived outside, but Mr. Keating hasn’t come yet," her assistant reminded her from the side.

Claire frowned and picked up the phone to call Ronan Keating.

He quickly answered the call.

"Hey, Ronan, the press conference is about to start. Where are you? You aren’t planning to go against Mr. Keating’s wishes, are you?"

"I’m on the road, but there’s some traffic."

Claire breathed a sigh of relief at his words and replied with a gentle smile, "Okay, I’ll be waiting for you here at the hotel."

After hanging up the phone, she smiled.

"It’s fine, he’s on his way. Continue with the makeup, and make sure it’s beautiful."

The makeup artists responded in unison, "Okay, we’ll make sure you look stunning for the press conference."
