CHAPTER 681: CHAPTER 681: I’M AFRAID YOU’LL BE DISAPPOINTED

Ronan Keating’s brow furrowed, his entire being exuded a sinister intensity, "I won’t let you go, you can only be tied to me for the rest of your life."

Yvette Ray was in tears, "You’re about to marry Claire Truman, there’s no future for us, let’s let each other go."

Ronan’s handsome face turned cold and sullen at the thought of Yvette being with another man.

Let go of each other? He didn’t want to let go.

He forcibly stepped forward to embrace Yvette, but she struggled desperately to resist his hold.

In his anger, Ronan slung Yvette over his shoulder and headed upstairs.

Yvette screamed in terror, "Let me go, don’t touch me, I’ll report you, get away!"

Upon hearing this, Ronan laughed malevolently, "Then report me, I’ll be waiting to see if Ethan Finch still wants you when he knows you slept with me again."

After finishing, he kicked open the door and threw Yvette onto the bed.

Despair consumed Yvette as she raised her hand and slapped Ronan hard, making his face turn to the side.

He glared at Yvette angrily, but did not retaliate.

After a moment, Ronan reached out to touch Yvette’s cheek, and softly said, "Don’t fight with me, or I won’t be sure what I might do."

Ronan’s oppressive presence surged around her, Yvette saw the vase nearby, picked it up, and smashed it down on Ronan’s head.

The vase shattered instantly, and darkness clouded Ronan’s vision as he fell onto her.

Panic gripped Yvette, but she couldn’t stay to check on him; she had to leave as quickly as possible. She could only push him aside and escape.

As she ran downstairs, she spotted her phone, picked it up, opened the door, and ran out.

The villa was quite isolated, with no transportation available. Yvette could only call Ethan Finch to come pick her up, but after a long wait, there was no answer.

She kept running and dialed Eleanor Sterling’s number.

"Yvette?" Eleanor’s voice came through the speaker, tinged with a hint of exhaustion.

"Eleanor, Ronan Keating just took me away. I managed to knock him out and escape, but I can’t get through to Ethan’s phone."

In her panic, Yvette explained her situation as clearly as possible.

"Where are you? I’ll come get you."

"I’ll send it to you."

Only after hanging up did Yvette breathe a sigh of relief.

She found a secluded spot to hide and quietly awaited Eleanor’s arrival.

Soon, a car stopped in front of Yvette.

She opened the car door and got in. Seeing Eleanor, Yvette felt like a drifting boat finding its harbor.

The tension in Yvette had not yet fully dissipated; she failed to notice Eleanor’s sullen expression and lack of a smile.

Eleanor took out a plane ticket and handed it to Yvette, saying, "I’ve arranged a place for you to lay low, you should hide for now."

Yvette blinked and took a look.

The ticket information showed Serene Isle, the place she and Ethan had decided to go previously.

"Eleanor?" Yvette looked at her, puzzled.

Eleanor’s expression was calm as she said, "You have to stay far away from Ronan, hide in a place where he can’t find you, only then can you truly shake him off, at least until he marries Claire you have to hide."

Yvette bit her lip, took the ticket from Eleanor’s hand, "Alright, I understand."

"Moira and Ethan will stay in Aethelgard, their treatment has begun, they can’t leave. I’ll update you on their progress later."

Eleanor’s meaning was clear—urging Yvette to leave alone.

Yvette hesitated looking at Eleanor, seemingly reluctant to leave Moira Ray.

"Do you really want Moira to keep getting kidnapped repeatedly?"

Upon hearing this, Yvette had no more hesitation. She nodded lightly, "Alright, Eleanor, I trust you."

At these words, Eleanor clenched her fists.

Yvette, I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed.
