Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!
Chapter 682: Give Them a Surprise
CHAPTER 682: CHAPTER 682: GIVE THEM A SURPRISE
Eleanor personally escorted Yvette onto the plane and only when she confirmed her safe arrival did her heart fully settle.
She didn’t pause for a moment and immediately rushed to The Faulkner Group’s medical research lab.
Previously, with the help of Jordan Hawthorne, Eleanor and Alaric Faulkner had found Moira Ray and Ethan Finch, but they were still a step too late.
The two had suffered immense harm, currently in a coma, and still undergoing emergency treatment. It was unknown how the situation would evolve.
Claire Truman was deceived into believing she had succeeded, and as long as the child’s whereabouts remained hidden in the future, there would be no more such harm.
Eleanor didn’t want Yvette to suffer harm again, so she temporarily sent her away.
When she arrived, the rescue room’s light was still on.
Alaric Faulkner had summoned all the available doctors including Dylan Lawson, and Eleanor also had Brian Zane come to assist in the emergency treatment.
As soon as Eleanor got there, she changed into sterile clothes and entered the operating room.
A full five hours passed, and the surgery only concluded in the early hours.
When the door opened, Eleanor walked out.
Alaric Faulkner saw her pale face and immediately stepped forward to inquire, "How is the situation?"
Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner were also waiting, surrounding Eleanor eagerly asking, "How is Moira?"
"Has she woken up?"
Eleanor shook her head and softly said, "It’s temporarily stabilized, but the situation is still not great."
She pinched her painfully aching head and staggered, Alaric Faulkner immediately stepped forward to support her.
Leaning into Alaric Faulkner’s arms, Eleanor felt somewhat weak and powerless.
Brian Zane and she had already tried their best, barely saving Moira Ray’s life, but because her body was already weak before, recovering from such severe trauma was difficult.
If it weren’t for them, Moira Ray probably wouldn’t have had a chance to survive.
As for Ethan Finch, he also suffered severe harm while protecting Moira Ray, with multiple critical injuries all over his body and still hasn’t escaped danger.
"I’ll arrange the best nursing staff to care for them, you’re also very tired, let me take you back to rest."
Eleanor nodded, entrusting herself to Alaric Faulkner’s care.
The surgery took too long, her nerves were tense, and her energy was gravely depleted; she needed a good rest.
"We’re waiting here for Moira."
Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner had red-rimmed eyes, gritting their teeth as they looked at Eleanor.
Alaric Faulkner lifted Eleanor horizontally so she could rest properly.
In the car, Eleanor fell into a deep sleep.
She slept for an entire day before waking up.
Looking at the dusky sky outside the window, Eleanor felt momentarily dazed, like she had dreamed.
"Awake? Why not sleep a bit more."
Eleanor turned her head to see Alaric Faulkner, she lifted the blanket and got out of bed, "I’ve slept enough, how is Moira doing?"
"She’s already been moved to a regular ward, being cared for by professional medical staff, though there’s no telling when she’ll wake up."
Seeing Eleanor’s face still didn’t look good, Alaric Faulkner reassured her again, "Eleanor, I’ve mobilized The Faulkner Group’s most professional medical team.
They have strong nursing knowledge, you don’t need to worry too much.
You’re too tired, you should care more about your own health, otherwise I’ll feel distressed."
Eleanor looked at Alaric Faulkner, feeling warmth in her heart.
She truly liked him so much.
Each time, he was so thoughtful, handling things so meticulously for her.
People are all compared to each other, comparatively, Ronan Keating seemed like such a scumbag.
Thinking about Claire Truman and Ronan Keating, Eleanor felt they should be tied together and not allowed to harm others.
"What are you thinking?" Alaric Faulkner asked.
"Suppress all matters related to them, wait until Ronan Keating and Claire Truman’s wedding day, I want to surprise them."
A sharp cold flashed in Eleanor’s eyes.
She has always been protective, and for those who dared to provoke her good friends, she would not let them go.
