CHAPTER 758: CHAPTER 758: PERHAPS HE’S OVERTHINKING
The Keating Family in K Country.
Alaric Faulkner watched the Keating Family servants busy with the preparations for the wedding banquet, his expression showing no hint of the joy expected of a groom about to be wed.
Tomorrow would be his wedding with Giselle Keating, and relatives from the Faulkner family had arrived in K Country, with several families arranging to stay in the manor.
Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner, shoulders touching, sat across from Alaric Faulkner, whispering quietly.
"I wonder what that scoundrel’s going to try to pull off after the wedding."
"I think he’s bound to make more moves."
Alaric Faulkner’s expression darkened, a sudden wave of anxiety gripping his heart, making it hard for him to breathe.
Out of nowhere, Eleanor Sterling came to mind.
Without thinking further, he immediately took out his phone to call Aethelgard.
The call quickly connected, answered by a servant he had left at the villa.
Alaric Faulkner asked, "Is everything okay with the lady?"
"President Faulkner, everything is normal."
Upon hearing the servant’s report, Alaric Faulkner finally breathed a sigh of relief and hung up the phone.
Perhaps he was overthinking...
He raised his eyes to the whispering brothers, then said, "Grandpa and Grandma have already arrived at the Keating Family estate. You two should go with them when you’re free."
The two had long had enough of Giselle Keating, who always carried herself arrogantly, making them want to teach her a lesson.
Now that they wouldn’t have to see her smug expression, they were naturally overjoyed and nodded repeatedly, saying, "Sure, sure."
The duo immediately stood up and ran toward the place where Old Master Faulkner and Old Lady Faulkner were staying.
After they left, Giselle Keating gracefully walked in, took a seat across from Alaric Faulkner, and smirked, "Alaric, tomorrow’s our wedding. Where do you want to go for our honeymoon afterward?"
Alaric Faulkner gave her a cold glance and said, "You should know the reason for our marriage. Don’t wish for what you can’t have; you won’t get it."
With that, he left without a trace of emotion, heading outside.
Giselle Keating clenched her fists, her gaze growing ominous.
She retreated to a corner to dial Franklin Faulkner’s number, "Hello, everything’s proceeding as planned for the wedding, but I keep worrying something unexpected might happen."
Perhaps because her long-held obsession was finally reaching its goal, being too easily attainable brought unease. Thus, Giselle Keating was so apprehensive.
"Rest assured, I’ll ensure the wedding proceeds smoothly. You shouldn’t worry about anything else."
Hearing Fenrir’s assurance allowed Giselle Keating to breathe a sigh of relief.
She hung up the phone, feeling at ease.
Now, she would just wait to become the bride.
She hadn’t expected her luck to be so good as to gain Franklin Faulkner’s assistance.
At that moment, Franklin Faulkner was sitting on the sofa, his handsome face hidden in the shadows.
His long fingers, defined by prominent bones, tapped lightly on the tabletop as he murmured, "Since the show has started on Alaric Faulkner’s side, it’s time for Jasper Faulkner to take the stage too."
A chilling smile crept from his lips as he grabbed his phone to make a call.
The other side quickly picked up, and Hazel Langley’s weary voice sounded, "Hello, I’ve done as you asked. You should let Jasper Faulkner go now, right?"
Franklin Faulkner sneered, "I want you to publicly announce you’re getting married soon, and the groom is the father of the child."
