Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!
Chapter 781: Nowhere Left to Run Soon
CHAPTER 781: CHAPTER 781: NOWHERE LEFT TO RUN SOON
Although Eleanor Sterling had previously clashed with Tristan Keating, she still felt at ease living in The Keating Family’s estate.
Of course, she was staying in Ronan Keating’s villa, without interacting with others.
Two days had passed since the wedding drama.
The Faulkner Family elders were sent back to Aethelgard by Alaric Faulkner. Though worried about Alaric and Eleanor, they were too old to be of any help, so they tried not to cause trouble.
They took Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner away with them.
Meanwhile, Jasper Faulkner went on a honeymoon with Hazel Langley.
It seemed they shared the same idea as Alaric and Eleanor, wanting to spend their remaining time together, like a pair of doomed lovers.
Now, Eleanor felt incredibly happy being with Alaric, despite knowing they both were riddled with ailments.
Because she was not alone on her journey to death; she had a companion.
Every day was now the last day.
There was nothing much left to regret, except for The Keating Family...
However, Eleanor had come to terms with it. She hadn’t been with her real family for the first twenty years of her life, so after that, it didn’t really matter.
Her main worry was Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner, as Franklin Faulkner still posed a threat as long as he wasn’t caught.
Once Franklin was truly captured and eliminated, under the Faulkner Family’s protection, those two children should be able to grow up healthy and safe.
While Eleanor plans to proactively seek treatment, she will also do everything in her power to capture Franklin Faulkner, creating a peaceful environment for her children’s growth.
"Alaric, we’re on the verge of death, yet your only wedding in this life was with Giselle Keating." Eleanor complained with a hint of dissatisfaction.
"Sorry, it was my mistake." Alaric sighed helplessly, holding Eleanor in his arms, "Once we’re both better, I’ll give you the grandest wedding the world has ever seen."
With a soft smile, Eleanor said, "Sounds good."
Alaric looked at her and said, "Let’s fight for recovery first, let Elder Sawyer and the others develop the antidote.
If it truly doesn’t work out, I’ll take you wherever you wish to go, spending our last moments together."
"Where do you want to go?"
Alaric chuckled, poking her nose, "That’s supposed to be my question to you. Where do you want to go? No matter where it is, I’ll be with you."
Eleanor shook her head, "Anywhere with you is fine. I don’t want to leave your side."
Feeling Eleanor’s deep attachment, Alaric’s heart trembled, he held her tighter, dropping a kiss on her lips.
At that moment, a disrupting voice sounded from behind.
"Ahem, though I hate to interrupt, but it’s time for your check-up."
"..."
Eleanor looked at Thomas Quincy irritably, her eyes full of displeasure. This person had no sense of timing.
Alaric took Eleanor’s hand, saying, "Let’s go, don’t keep the master waiting."
They proceeded to Ronan Keating’s medical lab in K Country.
Elder Sawyer, Brian Zane, Clara Thornton, and others were already waiting there. After greetings, they started discussing the antidote.
Alaric was unable to assist, so he withdrew outside, where Ronan was waiting.
Seeing Alaric approach, he said, "Now that we’ve joined forces, we’ve set a trap from which Franklin Faulkner cannot escape."
Recalling the previous chaos he endured, Alaric’s eyes flashed coldly, he gritted his teeth, "Once he’s caught, I’ll properly deal with him."
