Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!
Chapter 785: We’re All Saved
CHAPTER 785: CHAPTER 785: WE’RE ALL SAVED
Eleanor Sterling and Alaric Faulkner quickly learned of this good news. Alaric Faulkner was indifferent to his own fate; he only wanted Eleanor Sterling to survive.
A group of people sat together, and then Elder Sawyer slowly explained their solution. Unexpectedly, Eleanor remained unusually silent, with her head bowed, lost in thought.
Seeing this, everyone turned to look at her.
"Eleanor, what do you think? This is the only feasible solution for now. After all, developing an antidote is painstaking and labor-intensive, and there’s no telling when it can be produced."
Clara Thornton nodded repeatedly, "Yeah, haven’t you found your family now? You have so many brothers; their blood would be enough for you."
After a moment, everyone saw that Eleanor still did not speak, a trace of surprise passing across their faces.
"Eleanor?"
Eleanor raised her head and asked Elder Sawyer, "If I can be saved, then could Alaric Faulkner survive through a blood exchange as well?"
Elder Sawyer nodded, "In theory, yes. But Alaric Faulkner has a rare blood type, and there aren’t many people with it in the world. The blood in their blood bank is all tainted and completely unusable."
All avenues had been considered before, which is why progress was so slow.
Eleanor’s eyes brightened, and she slowly smiled, "Capture Franklin Faulkner, and we’ll have the blood we need."
"..."
Suddenly, everyone fell into silence.
Such a simple solution, they hadn’t thought of it before, but now that they did, it seemed feasible.
Eleanor turned to Alaric Faulkner and smiled, "Alaric Faulkner, we’re both saved."
Alaric Faulkner was also stunned; he hadn’t considered this possibility.
But using Franklin Faulkner to save himself wasn’t out of the question. After all, he caused all these troubles and should clean up the mess.
Alaric Faulkner couldn’t help but curl his lips.
"Because I was worried about Little Star encountering an accident, I’ve stored some of Little Star’s blood. Although it gets cleared out periodically, there is still some left. Little Star hasn’t been poisoned, and combined with Franklin Faulkner’s, it’s enough to save one person."
A puzzle without a solution suddenly found direction, and all confusion was resolved.
Now she had found a way, not only could she survive, but Alaric Faulkner could too.
At least they didn’t have to wander like headless flies as they did before, waiting for a remedy that seemed out of reach.
However, even with a solution, implementing it was not easy. The blood exchange therapy itself is notorious and can’t completely eradicate the toxins in the body.
It only weakens the toxins’ effects on the body. After all, a blood exchange can’t entirely drain the body’s blood, but the remaining slight toxins are no longer a concern.
So this method is feasible, but it requires a carefully devised comprehensive plan.
It also needs to be carried out under the supervision of experts and in a safe environment so that any arising issues can be promptly addressed.
Yesterday, Eleanor was still immersed in worry; unexpectedly, today the skies have cleared.
Eleanor looked at Alaric Faulkner and hummed, "So, do you now know how foolish your previous actions were?"
Alaric Faulkner dared not argue, quickly lowering his posture and saying, "Eleanor, you’re absolutely right. I wasn’t thinking."
Afterward, the two returned to their room, and the group drafted the treatment plan, preparing for Eleanor’s formal blood exchange.
Eleanor lay on the sofa, sighing leisurely, "It all feels somewhat unreal."
It’s like a parched traveler suddenly seeing an oasis in the desert, only to doubt whether the oasis is just a mirage.
Alaric Faulkner came forward and embraced her, "This is our blessing; neither of us will die."
Eleanor nodded and gently leaned against his embrace.
Such calamity-like events made them go through a lot, but who said it wasn’t a test?
They love each other even more, because to be able to live and die together is a bond that only those who have taken each other to heart can achieve.
