CHAPTER 804: CHAPTER 804: GET LOST AS FAR AS YOU CAN
Eleanor Sterling and Alaric Faulkner had just arrived at the villa and hadn’t even caught their breath when Yvette Ray called, saying Ronan Keating was in trouble.
"Can’t even have a moment of peace."
Alaric raised an eyebrow and said, "Let’s go to the hospital and check it out."
Seeing him suddenly so concerned about Ronan, Eleanor was a bit puzzled. She asked, "You’ve been working with my fifth brother for a while now, grown some revolutionary feelings?"
"No," Alaric sneered, "I’m just afraid if he kicks the bucket, there’ll be nobody to draw blood for you, and the rest of the Keating Family is more troublesome."
"..."
Eleanor was truly impressed with Alaric’s train of thought. She had to admit Ronan was quite unfortunate, being seen as nothing more than a blood donor in Alaric’s eyes.
Alaric unceremoniously said, "In my eyes, there’s no one more important than you in this world."
Hearing his sweet words, Eleanor smiled and asked, "What about Little Star and Little Yi?"
Alaric snorted, "The further they roll, the better."
This made Eleanor laugh. She touched her belly and sighed, "If our two kids have the chance to be born, I hope it’s a daughter. I don’t believe you could be so heartless."
Everyone says dads are suckers for daughters. Eleanor thought with someone like Alaric, having a daughter would definitely change his attitude compared to having two sons.
Alaric lowered his head, leaned close to her ear, and whispered, "It will happen, you all will be fine."
As for himself, he left it to fate. Anyway, he had prepared everything. If he really died, all of his possessions would be left to Eleanor.
Eleanor gave him a shove, "Alright, stop dawdling, my brother is still lying in the hospital."
"Trouble lasts a thousand years, I feel he won’t die, so we can have a little fun before going."
"..."
Eleanor immediately struggled to get up. Despite her words, she was still very concerned about Ronan and had to go and see him.
Watching Eleanor’s retreating figure, Alaric shook his head and chuckled softly, only able to lift his legs to follow.
The two quickly rushed to the hospital, arriving just as the treatment had ended and Ronan was transferred to the ICU.
"Yvette, how is he?"
Yvette wiped her face and said, "The doctor said he has a concussion and hasn’t yet escaped life danger."
Moira Ray stepped forward, grabbed Eleanor, and asked, "Aunt Eleanor, will my dad die?"
"Do you want him to die?" Eleanor asked.
She was a bit curious about how the little girl truly felt about Ronan.
Moira thought for a moment, then shook her head, "No, I don’t want that."
Children don’t understand adult grievances, Moira simply didn’t want Ronan to have any problems.
Yvette watched her, lowering her eyes, not sure what she was thinking.
Eleanor patted Moira’s head, comforting her, "Don’t worry, he’ll be fine."
Afterward, she listened to the doctors outside discussing Ronan’s condition, allowing her to relax a little.
Ronan was just temporarily stable, and should wake up tonight or tomorrow.
Seeing Yvette restless, Eleanor laughed, "You’re so worried about him, someone might think you’re not over him."
Yvette pursed her lips, not saying anything, nor did she deny it.
Eleanor still hoped Yvette could be happy, whether it was with Ethan Finch or getting back together with Ronan.
Now Ronan had realized his mistakes, it wouldn’t be a bad thing if Yvette reconciled with him.
Earlier, she noticed Moira didn’t have strong objections to Ronan either.
Perhaps Ronan could really win Yvette back, this accident might just be the opportunity.
Even fate seemed to be on Ronan’s side.
