CHAPTER 851: CHAPTER 851: YOU WANT TO FRAME ME

Clara Thornton was taken away from Aethelgard by Miles Foster.

She had no idea where Miles was taking her; they boarded a plane and left.

After landing, a mask was placed on her.

The car sped down the road, and Clara looked out the window, sighing softly.

From Miles’ words, she learned that he intended to use her to strike a deal with Thomas Quincy in exchange for Henry Foster, so she no longer worried about her safety.

At least, falling into Thomas Quincy’s hands wouldn’t pose any danger.

On a vast open field, Thomas Quincy stood with several others. Miles Foster’s car stopped right in front of him.

Miles got out of the car and dragged Clara out.

Thomas waved his hand, and the people behind him immediately brought Henry Foster forward. He said to Miles, "I’ve brought him; now you release Nancy Nash."

Seeing Henry, Miles let out a cold laugh.

"I don’t trust you. Release my brother first."

Thomas didn’t hesitate; he signaled to his men, and they released Henry.

Upon seeing Miles come to his rescue, Henry excitedly ran over, "Miles, you finally came to save me. Thomas Quincy, that son of a bitch, isn’t human; he locked me up for so many days."

Miles’ gaze was dark and ominous. He abruptly pushed Clara toward Thomas, who caught her as she stumbled into his arms.

As Henry ran over, Miles took out something and waved it in front of Henry, releasing a cloud of black mist, which Henry inhaled instantly.

Before he could react, his eyes widened in shock, clutching his chest as he collapsed.

Watching Henry’s actions, Thomas’ brow immediately furrowed. He grit his teeth and said, "How do you have my ’Skyline’?!"

That was his unique poison, a lethal toxin.

He had stored this poison in the Quincy Family’s ancestral shrine, intending to take it to his grave. How could it be with Miles now?

Suddenly, Thomas understood Miles’ plan.

He poisoned Henry with his unique toxin, allowing him to successfully assume power, while the Foster Family would solely blame him for Henry’s death and hunt him down!

Thomas’s expression turned grim, "Are you trying to frame me?"

Miles laughed heartily, "Seems the Quincy Family Head isn’t that foolish after all. I’ve been under Henry for too long, clearly having greater abilities, yet being suppressed just because he’s the eldest."

Thomas frowned; though Henry was somewhat reckless, under his leadership, the Foster Family wasn’t too problematic. If Miles rose to power in the future, the Quincy and Foster families would surely become adversaries.

Miles sneered, "Too bad I didn’t find Nancy, but I’ve arranged an even bigger spectacle for you."

Upon hearing Miles’ words, Thomas immediately removed Clara’s mask, and upon seeing her, his pupils contracted.

"Why is it you?"

Clara had been given a muting drug, and she shook her head quickly.

She also wanted to know why it was her; she had been trying to nudge him to warn him, but this man just kept holding her tight, driving her mad.

Miles laughed maniacally, turned, and left the scene.

Watching the car drive away, Thomas sighed helplessly, "There’s nothing to be done, let’s head back."

He took Clara into the car, "Does Eleanor Sterling know you’ve been captured?"

Clara shook her head.

Thomas frowned, finally realizing something was off with her.

He took out a universal antidote pill from the Quincy Family’s supply and slipped it into Clara’s mouth.

After swallowing, Clara finally recovered enough to speak.

"Eleanor doesn’t know. Quickly, inform her I’m okay, otherwise, she’ll be worried."
