Inside the villa, Franklin Faulkner was on a call with Garrett Faulkner.

"Mr. Franklin, I’ve already created an opening in the Faulkner Family for you, allowing your people to take over without any hindrance."

Franklin laughed heartily, "Good, you’ve done well. When the time comes, I’ll definitely recommend you for the position of Family Head."

"Of course."

After hanging up, a trace of contempt appeared in Garrett’s eyes. Franklin still didn’t know that he had already sided with Jasper Faulkner.

What he said about recommending him for a promotion, he probably said the same to his two brothers too.

He immediately reported the news to Jasper Faulkner.

The phone rang, and Alaric took a glance before saying, "There’s news. Franklin is ready to take over the Faulkner Family during the Family Head meeting."

Eleanor nodded, "Are you all prepared?"

"Everything’s ready. We’re just waiting to close the net and catch him in one sweep."

Eleanor let out a small sigh of relief, as things were finally coming to a conclusion and she no longer had to live in constant anxiety.

Seeing Eleanor smile happily, blooming like a flower, Alaric was deeply moved and leaned forward to kiss her red lips.

"After this is over, I’ve arranged for a grand wedding. You’ll marry me in front of everyone, and then we’ll go on our honeymoon after the ceremony."

Eleanor was momentarily stunned, then slowly curved her lips into a smile.

"You’re dreaming. Even after we’ve dealt with Franklin, we still have many things to do. I won’t feel at ease until the toxins in you are completely cleansed.

Plus, there’s the mess in the Faulkner Family waiting for you, and you think you can just run away? It’s not that easy."

Alaric held her tightly, "Detoxifying is easy, especially with Franklin around. As for the Faulkner Family... leave it to Jasper or those two brats."

Eleanor shook her head helplessly at his words.

Alaric was really playing the role of an uninvolved boss perfectly.

"Are you serious?"

Even though Estelle was still young, she knew she was the only one without toxins in her body and wanted to contribute her share.

Alaric nodded, "Alright."
