CHAPTER 26: CHAPTER 26: FIRST CLASH BETWEEN FATHER AND SON, DAMIEN’S COMPLETE DEFEAT!

Ivy Summers felt her heart die; is destiny truly predetermined? In the end, she couldn’t escape Damien Lancaster discovering the child.

Ivy gritted her back teeth.

Lifting her pale face to look at Damien, since he had already found out, there’s nothing left for her to hide.

"What do you want me to explain?"

She did hide the child, so what?

She just didn’t want her child to call him father, so what?

She didn’t think there was anything to explain.

Damien’s eyes, full of anger, stared at Ivy.

He hadn’t expected Ivy Summers to be the one to do this.

Why?

Five years and still not over it?

Still playing these childish pranks to disgust him?

"I have nothing to explain."

Seeing her still so self-righteous.

Damien grew even angrier.

Ivy only felt her scalp tingling under his gaze.

The hand hanging by her side had quietly clenched into a fist.

Though Ivy had prepared herself for the possibility of a fierce struggle with Damien over the child, she was still very aware that she couldn’t beat him.

So if it really came to the point of fighting for the child, she knew she couldn’t win.

The thought of her child being taken away, making it difficult to see them again in the future, gave Ivy an impulse to desperately fight Damien.

"Just say what you want."

Ivy didn’t want to waste words with him; she had already said what needed to be said.

Better to die quickly and transcend sooner.

"Ha."

Damien let out a cold laugh, "Caught, and can’t even be bothered to explain, huh?"

"I said there’s nothing to explain."

Damien nodded, squinting, "Very well, it’s good you admit it. Doing all this, Ivy, you’re quite something."

Ivy pressed her lips tightly, staring back at him without fear, "Thanks for the compliment, but I was still careless, letting you find out."

"Julian, take her away."

Damien was so angry he wanted to kill. Julian kept his mouth shut, quickly carrying out Damien’s orders, as two men stepped forward to detain Ivy.

"Who dares!" Ivy shouted in anger, her beautiful brows sharp as ever.

"If you have demands, just state them, no need to take me away."

Ivy’s aura was strong, yet Damien still saw the tremble beneath her forced calm.

"You sure have the courage to act and take responsibility," Damien’s eyes flickered with darkness.

What’s there to not own up to?

Having been discovered, Ivy naturally had nothing to say, only to prepare herself desperately.

"Julian, find two people to keep an eye on her; I’ll deal with her after resolving this matter."

Damien turned and left with his men.

"What?"

Ivy frowned, stepping forward two steps, but was stopped by Damien’s men.

"What does he mean?"

Watching Damien’s departing figure, Ivy was a bit surprised; having discovered her child, he just left like that?

No further action, no taking the child away; was she dreaming?

Julian wiped the cold sweat off his forehead, "Miss Summers, you’ve really stirred things up this time, better think hard about what to do, the gentleman is quite angry, very serious."

Julian could very responsibly tell Ivy, that if tonight Damien hadn’t discovered it was Ivy, but someone else, that person would undoubtedly be dead.

This incident had a significant impact on both Damien and Rachel Shaw, particularly for Rachel; the Shaw Family was very angry, and had already called Damien, vowing to severely punish the prankster.

Julian finished speaking and hurriedly followed Damien.

Ivy couldn’t imagine Damien leaving so easily, until she saw him get into the car, then she realized it, closing the door and collapsing on the floor drained of strength.

Outside, Damien sat in the car, his face dark and terrifying, the subordinates around him not daring to breathe.

He pressed his lips, calmed down, but still felt something was off.

Judging by the timing, Ivy was dining with the Lancaster Family then, how could she have done all this?

Could someone have helped her? If so, whoever was helping her was definitely not to be underestimated.

"Sir, that hacker has sent us a message."

Damien frowned, took the computer, and indeed received a message from the hacker’s account: "Happy now?"

A single sentence, extremely provocative.

Damien’s long fingers quickly danced over the keyboard, sending a message: "Who are you?"

"Want to know who I am? Let’s play a game. Win, and I’ll tell you."

Damien pressed his lips tightly, opened it; it was a code to crack.

Julian, "Sir, should I call in a professional security administrator?"

"No need."

Damien insisted on meeting the person behind all this himself.

Damien focused on the computer and began to operate it himself.

Julian immediately quieted down, not daring to speak.

In the car, only the sound of fingers tapping the keyboard remained.

Damien, with a serious expression, acknowledged the opponent had some skills, but compared to him, they were still lacking. In just ten minutes, Damien had cracked the code.

And on the big screen, five words suddenly flashed:

"I am your father!"

Damien frowned fiercely; those five big words springing and jumping around the screen, mocking his foolishness.

All this time, the other side was just toying with him!

Across the way, Nathan and Leo imagining Damien’s furious state were already laughing like little maniacs.

Damien looked at the computer screen, finally laughing in extreme anger.

Very good, very good, now he was very interested in the person behind Ivy.

With a "snap", he closed the computer.

The phone rang.

It was Rachel Shaw.

Damien’s brows furrowed tightly, as he answered the call.

Rachel was sobbing, humiliated as a shameless woman, she appeared to have suffered great injustice, unwilling to let it go, "Damien, have you found the prankster?"

Damien’s eyes, void of any emotion, tightened, focusing on the Summers Family villa.

After a few seconds of silence, he spoke in a low voice, "Not yet."

"Damien, this matter is too serious, it must be addressed," said Rachel’s phone, taken by her father Phillip Shaw, his voice full of anger.

Damien was quiet for a moment, his arm on the car window, long fingers tapping rhythmically, asking, "If we found them, what would you like to do?"

"To damage Rachel’s reputation, I’d naturally sue them and demand compensation."

Damien’s brow furrowed further.

Thinking of Ivy, he raised his hand to pinch his tense brow, his eyes filled with anger.

She had aborted his child, abandoned him for five years, and now returned only to cause trouble.

Truly remarkable.

"I understand."

"Damien, have you really not found the person?" Phillip Shaw asked.

Given Damien’s abilities, they didn’t think he couldn’t track down the culprit.

"Not yet, let’s leave it at that for now."

Damien gave them no more chance to speak, hanging up the call.

"Hello, Damien..." On the other end, Phillip Shaw slammed the phone onto the table.

Rachel sniffled, "Dad, if Damien says he hasn’t found them, he must really not have."

Phillip glanced at Rachel, smiling ruefully, "You’re still too naive. If Damien Lancaster wants to find someone, he can do it in minutes. If he won’t reveal it, there’s no result yet, I assume the person he found is someone he wants to protect."

Rachel’s face grew worse the more she listened.

Someone he wants to protect.

"Ivy Summers?"
