Unexpected Marriage: She is the Sugar Mommy!
Chapter 89: Austin White Rushes Over
CHAPTER 89: CHAPTER 89: AUSTIN WHITE RUSHES OVER
After all, Austin was definitely not old enough to be Seraphina Sinclair’s son.
Austin stuck out his tongue: "Recently, I’ve been investigating that hidden force in Y Country, but they are well-concealed, and there has been no progress so far."
Whenever this matter is brought up, Austin’s mood inevitably soured, as the main purpose of his visit to Bayside City was to uncover this force. Yet to this day, there’s not a single clue.
"Have there been any interactions with the island lately?"
"We had a big deal intercepted, suffered significant losses, and there’s someone under my brother who still hasn’t returned." Austin replied.
Having lived with Austin for quite some time, Seraphina Sinclair could tell he was feeling agitated by his lowered gaze.
"Austin, take it slow, anyway, my godmother can’t leave Bayside City anytime soon, so stay here and keep me and Jude company."
Among the three brothers of the White Family, Austin was actually the more cheerful type, rarely showing signs of worry on his face.
After listening to Seraphina, Austin’s mood slightly improved. He looked at the dark circles under her eyes, feeling somewhat concerned, and forced a smile at her, then asked, "Godmother, are you going alone? Do you want me to keep you company?"
"No need, you go mind your own business. I’ll drive myself; it’s not far, just at the Hilton Hotel."
Since Seraphina returned from abroad alone with her child, she had been preparing to be completely independent.
Moreover, the doctor had previously mentioned that her illness was psychological, and she could only recover by letting go completely. Ever since learning about her father’s cause of death, she was plagued day and night, so she didn’t plan on letting anyone else handle her revenge.
She wanted everyone in Bayside City’s business circle to know that the hardships Seraphina Sinclair endured would also be resolved by her own hands.
Seeing Seraphina so determined, Austin didn’t say much and just nodded, replying, "Alright, then I won’t disturb you. If there’s anything, let’s keep in touch by phone."
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Austin took the initiative to leave.
Seraphina saw that it was about time, so she immediately picked up her purse, lifted the hem of her dress, and walked slowly out of the villa.
Recently, with Jude not at home, Seraphina indeed felt more at ease, not worrying about her child encountering trouble when she went out.
After leaving the villa, she went directly to the parking lot and retrieved her black Maserati, then drove off.
Up until the moment she left, Seraphina had not noticed that she had left the invitation at home...
By the time Seraphina stepped out, it was already dark.
She followed the direction indicated by her navigation system after leaving the community, quickly arriving at the Hilton Hotel.
Seeing that time was still early, Seraphina planned to first park her car and then walk into the venue.
Just as Seraphina locked her car door and was about to leave, a man suddenly emerged from a blind spot in the surveillance, tightly covering her mouth.
Startled by the sudden attack, Seraphina instinctively began to struggle, trying to break free from the man’s grip.
Unfortunately, the difference in strength between men and women is significant, and no amount of struggle from Seraphina could change the outcome.
"Stop struggling! With your strength, you can’t move me. You better behave, or I guarantee you’ll suffer!"
Just when Seraphina was struggling to escape, the man behind her suddenly said this sternly.
Seraphina was horrified and knew she was in deep trouble, better to act wisely and instantly stopped moving, not daring to move a bit.
She sensed the man behind her stuffing a piece of cloth into her mouth, followed by tightly binding her hands with strips of cloth.
"What are you doing? Let go of my godmother!"
As Austin’s voice echoed in the parking garage, Seraphina suddenly saw hope.
In fact, Austin’s sudden appearance was purely coincidental. He had left Seraphina’s room not long ago and then returned, wanting to ask about how things had gone with Ethan Lloyd.
But upon returning to Seraphina’s room, the door was still unlocked. Entering the room, he discovered she was no longer there, but an invitation to the charity gala was left on the table.
Seeing there was still time, Austin decided to chase after Seraphina’s car and deliver the invitation to the venue.
He watched as Seraphina’s Maserati entered the parking garage and followed closely behind her.
Thus, he inadvertently witnessed this scene.
The man kidnapping Seraphina was startled upon seeing Austin appear, frowned, and said sternly, "Where did you come from? Don’t ruin my plans! Get lost immediately!"
The man’s tone was extremely malicious, clearly lacking civility.
The dim light in the parking garage created a sinister atmosphere.
Being his godmother in distress, Austin naturally wouldn’t stand idly by. Despite the man’s harsh words, he fearlessly stepped forward.
Initially, the man kidnapping Seraphina just retreated until he reached a corner with no way out, where he finally grew impatient.
"I’ll say it one more time. You better get lost, or I promise you won’t walk out of the parking garage alive today!"
The people Leah Zane hired were naturally not ordinary people, most of them were skilled fighters, experts in brawling.
Unfortunately, the man merely saw Austin’s thin appearance, unaware that he was also secretly trained from a young age.
Austin didn’t respond to the man but continued to advance without hesitation.
Finally, the man became impatient and blew a whistle.
Soon after, five or six burly men in black clothes emerged from all directions within the parking garage, their faces concealed.
"Kid, you want to play hero? Then I’ll show you the consequences of overreaching!"
After issuing his malicious remarks, the man spoke to the newly arrived group of burly men, "Brothers, get him!"
As soon as the man finished speaking, the group of burly men began approaching Austin.
Austin’s expression remained unchanged, still composed as he faced the crowd.
Witnessing the scene, Seraphina’s heart jumped into her throat.
Having lived with Austin for many years, she only knew he was very adept with computers, but when it came to fighting, Seraphina was truly unsure.
Seeing the burly men quickly close in on him, Austin’s lips suddenly curled into a smile as he began stretching his muscles.
As someone swung a fist at him, Austin deftly dodged and then kicked the person’s stomach.
A chaotic melee ensued immediately.
Austin was alone, but as he had been trained, he quickly took down several men before him.
The man kidnapping Seraphina noticed the scene and naturally wouldn’t act rashly. He intended to sneak up on Austin from behind, but fortunately, Seraphina was clever and kicked the side of a car forcefully, creating a loud noise.
