Urban Miracle Doctor
Chapter 25 - 25 25 Incredibly Skilled
25: Chapter 25: Incredibly Skilled 25: Chapter 25: Incredibly Skilled Qin Han followed the elderly man into the inner chamber of the medical hall and gestured for the elder to remove his shirt.
Looking at some darkened skin on the elder’s chest, he frowned and asked, “How long have you had this condition?”
“About five years!” Zhang Henian was calm, even displaying a hint of pride in his demeanor.
“Do you think that after five years, you have contained the toxin well, or do you think that testing medicines on yourself is a matter to be proud of?” Qin Han noticed the expression on Zhang Henian’s face and asked sternly.
In Qin Han’s view, neither reason was worth pride, and in fact, it seemed indicative of a lack of skill.
Zhang Henian caught the ironic tone in Qin Han’s words, sighed, and said, “Young man, you’re right, there’s nothing to be proud of.” After all, he was asking for help now, and even though the words were ironic, he knew he had to adjust his attitude.
“I know you’re not convinced.
Listen carefully.
Initially, you must have wanted to expel the toxin from the Taiyin Lung Meridian in the arm, trying to direct it from the chest through the inner edge of the arm towards the Shangyang acupoint at the tip of the thumb.
However, due to your insufficient skills, not only did you fail to expel the toxin, but you also caused it to flow backward, making it even more fierce than before, forcing you to seal it in the Shen Cang acupoint.”
“But do you realize that by doing this, you are hastening your own death!”
“Once the Shen Cang acupoint is broken, and the toxin spreads to the heart and lungs, even a divine doctor wouldn’t be able to save you.
And now, the toxin is already showing a faint trend of breaking through.
In my opinion, within ten days, if not treated in time, you will surely die.”
By the time Qin Han finished speaking, Zhang Henian was already shocked, his mouth agape.
Initially, he had also just wanted to give it a try and was not sure if this young man in front of him could cure him.
After all, people nowadays are smart, and if one is willing, it’s entirely possible to guess his condition.
As for whether it can be cured, well…
Zhang Henian became convinced that this young man really possessed medical skills when Qin Han spoke.
Without even taking his pulse and only from observing—one of the four diagnoses in traditional medicine—Qin Han had discerned his initial treatment approach.
This young man’s medical expertise was certainly at its peak.
Immediately, abandoning any underestimation, Zhang Henian stood up, bowed sincerely to Qin Han, and said, “Please, Divine Doctor, lend your aid!”
“Get up!
Sit down!”
Qin Han waited for Zhang Henian to be seated and then opened his portable needle bag.
He first used several Golden Needles to protect Zhang Henian’s heart meridian and then said, “I will protect your heart meridian first.
When I draw out the toxin from your body later, it’s going to be uncomfortable.
You must stay strong.”
“Please be assured, Divine Doctor, proceed with the treatment!” Zhang Henian’s face showed a determined expression.
He knew the upcoming extraction of the toxin was crucial, and what Qin Han described as ‘uncomfortable’ was certainly not going to be that simple.
Seeing that Zhang Henian was ready, Qin Han looked at him seriously and suddenly moved swiftly.
It was as though Qin Han was the deity with a thousand hands—left hand continuously slapping around Zhang Henian’s body, while the right hand followed up, plunging a Golden Needle into each acupoint he struck.
Qin Han’s hands moved faster and faster, and the wind from his arms made Zhang Henian’s hair flutter and even Zhou Wenfeng beside them could feel the breeze on his face.
Zhou Wenfeng was inwardly astonished by Qin Han’s actions, recalling the last time Qin Han treated his grandfather, he had not seen such an intense expression, nor such rapid and complex movements.
In just a moment, Zhang Henian’s arms, thighs, head, and back were filled with Golden Needles, leaving only the area of darkened skin on his chest untouched.
The number of Golden Needles in the needle bag beside Qin Han dwindled rapidly, about to run out.
“Get ready, here it comes!” Qin Han warned before striking Zhang Henian’s chest with a palm infused with his energy.
After being struck by Qin Han’s palm, Zhang Henian’s body shook, and a black line of blood sprayed from his mouth.
The dark blood sprayed against the inner chamber’s wall, sizzling and actually corroding the wall surface.
“It’s changing!” Zhou Wenfeng suddenly exclaimed in shock, inwardly praising the miraculous skill!
The darkened area on Zhang Henian’s chest began to recede visibly with the expulsion of the black blood, appearing to return to normal skin color.
The blood stopped, the darkness faded!
No more black blood was spurting from Zhang Henian’s mouth, and the skin of his chest had returned to normal.
He looked exceptionally exhausted.
Qin Han quickly removed the Golden Needles from Zhang Henian’s body and signaled Zhou Wenfeng to help lift him into a medicinal bath that had been prepared.
He then informed a nearby young girl that Zhang Henian would wake up in an hour and could then come out.
“Is my grandfather really better?” the girl asked with twinkling eyes, looking at Qin Han.
“He needs three more acupuncture sessions to fully recover,” Qin Han said with a light smile.
“Thank you!” she finished, staring blankly at Zhang Henian, who was in the medicinal bath.
With the matter of the shop settled, Qin Han and Zhou Wenfeng had nothing else to do, so they continued to wait at the clinic for Zhang Henian to wake up.
Dinglingling!
Just as they sat down, Qin Han’s phone rang with a pleasant melody.
Upon answering, it turned out that Song Yuwei and Diu Diu had already arrived on Huqing Street.
After giving them the address, Qin Han stood up and walked towards the door.
From a distance, as soon as Diu Diu saw Qin Han, she ran towards him like a wild horse breaking free, and when she got close, Qin Han scooped her up and tossed her into the air.
The little one laughed gleefully while suspended in the air.
“Daddy, higher, higher!” she was quite brave, urging Qin Han to throw her even higher.
“All right, Diu Diu, come down now!
Be careful not to fall,” Song Yuwei said as she joined them, calling out to Diu Diu who was still airborne.
With Diu Diu in his arms, Qin Han gestured and said, “Let’s go take a look at my clinic!”
When the trio entered Miaoshou Hall, Zhou Wenfeng was sitting there leisurely, sipping tea.
Seeing them enter, Zhou Wenfeng hastily stood up, smiling, “Sister-in-law, hello!
Little friend, hello there!”
“Zhou, are you the Wen Feng that Qin Han mentioned?” Song Yuwei asked in surprise.
“Ah, sister-in-law, call me Wen Feng when we’re not at the company,” he responded.
Song Yuwei looked at Zhou Wenfeng in amazement; he really was the Zhou, the head of Wanhua Company.
“Didn’t you meet him yesterday?” Qin Han asked Song Yuwei, his eyebrows raised in confusion.
“Sister-in-law, were you surprised this morning?” Zhou Wenfeng asked with a grin.
Before Song Yuwei could recover from the shock of Zhou Wenfeng’s change in status, his words reminded her of Lina from Wanhua Company that morning, and she realized everything had been arranged by Zhou Wenfeng.
“What surprise?” Qin Han’s interest was piqued by Zhou Wenfeng’s remark.
“I had my assistant visit Song Group this morning.
After hearing from you that sister-in-law often gets bullied there, I instructed my assistant to add a clause stipulating that this project is to be solely overseen by sister-in-law, or else it would be void,” Zhou Wenfeng said to Qin Han as if looking for recognition.
“You sure are something!” Qin Han also laughed, feeling very satisfied inside, silently praising Zhou Wenfeng for being young but experienced in handling matters.
“Daddy, mommy became an official, and this morning, many people bought me treats,” the little one also happily reported her morning’s spoils to Qin Han.
“Mmm, Diu Diu, such behavior isn’t good; we mustn’t learn from them, okay?” Qin Han was worried Diu Diu was too young and might misinterpret the morning’s events and develop bad habits.
While Song Yuwei’s promotion was a good thing, he didn’t want it to negatively influence the little one’s values.
“I know.
Those people used to bully mommy all the time, but now they’re scared because mommy’s an official.
They just left it there and walked away this morning; otherwise, I would not have taken it,” Diu Diu said earnestly.
All three were stunned by the child’s words, amazed that someone so young could already understand these things.
