Urban Soldier Young Master
Chapter 786 - 785: Brawl in the Parking Lot
The phone quickly connected, and Chu Ge told Chen Jue that he was a bit busy earlier, then went straight to the point.
As expected, Chen Jue made this call about the Zhiling Headhunting Company, and not only was his efficiency high, the information he gathered in one day was far more detailed than what Guan Peng, the police chief, had.
After they ended the call, Chu Ge's mood was a bit anxious. What he feared had indeed come true; his previous worries had become reality.
The owner of this company is named Meng Qun, but it's just a facade. A young man named Li Zheming is the real boss.
When mentioning Li Zheming, Chu Ge frowned. Not long ago, he had dealt with a kid named Li Zheming at Li Nan's dojo. And according to Chen Jue's description, the real boss of Zhiling Company was indeed this Li Zheming.
Although Zhiling Headhunting Company is formally registered with many procedures, the company's employees aren't that straightforward.
In this company, anyone you pick out is usually the kind who loves to fight, and they have some skills. In addition, all employees of this company can speak Korean, and according to Chen Jue, there are about fifty people.
Besides these, there is one thing Chen Jue isn't completely sure about, which is that recently, some South Koreans who suddenly came to Lidu and quickly became employees of Zhiling Headhunting Company seem to frequently train the company's staff, teaching them some combat skills.
Putting away the phone, Chu Ge pondered silently. Is this Li Zheming rallying his forces under the guise of a legitimate company to develop a power base of his own?
When Chu Ge dealt with this kid before, he didn't take him seriously. However, looking at the current situation, this kid doesn't seem that simple.
After all, running a company and supporting a big group of people requires money. A headhunting company sounds high-end, but in reality, it's not easy to operate, especially when starting out, when survival is tough.
Especially letting a bunch of aggressive young people discuss these matters, doesn't it sound absurd?
Beyond the money issue, what's more concerning are the Koreans who came specifically to join Li Zheming. Although their fighting skills are far from Chu Ge's, they are no rookies. Why would they leave their good life in South Korea to join Li Zheming's camp?
Previously, he had kicked away Li Zheming, then performed a series of throws on Li Zheming's Taekwondo teacher Park Sungjin, and then beat up the Koreans who came to join Li Zheming. The feud was quite deep.
As Chu Ge was thinking about these things, whether it was Qin Ruojing or Qin Ruoying had already changed into a white wedding dress and stood by his side.
He temporarily set these matters aside, glanced sideways and slightly smiled, sincerely praising, "Beautiful."
The photoshoot began, first on the beach by the sea, then continued on a yacht rented by the studio.
The sky and sea of pure blue, the white wedding dress and the white yacht, the beautiful scenery, and the beautiful woman created a view that couldn't simply be described as beautiful.
At half past ten in the morning, as Chu Ge, Qin Ruojing, and Qin Ruoying were taking wedding photos, a van headed towards the parking lot of the New Bride's Wedding Studio.
The van was covered in abstract blood-red graffiti inside was blasting loud pop music. A few young men and women under twenty, with colorful dyed hair, sat inside, with their arms resting on the window edges, cigarettes in their mouths, glancing outside, and whistling loudly at any scantily-dressed beauties they spotted.
Such a van, with such a group of people, it was hard not to draw attention, and just as the van pulled into the parking lot, a silver-gray Nissan was reversing, and with a "bang," the van's front end collided with the Nissan's rear.
"Fuck you! Are you fucking blind?"
The young men in the van all swayed and before they could steady themselves, they started cursing loudly.
The door of the Nissan swung open with a "bang," and a man wearing wide-framed sunglasses, a black tank top, displaying large swathes of tattoos on his muscular arms, stormed out from the driver's seat.
"You little punks, what's the deal? I'm reversing normally, and you rear-end me, and you're the ones in the right?"
As soon as the muscle man got out of the car, the back door opened, and three similarly dressed young men, who were clearly no pushovers, also stepped out.
The young people from the van also got out and, seeing the men emerging from the Nissan, cursed under their breath and approached menacingly.
The first red-haired guy who got off the car spat out the half-burned cigarette in his mouth, throwing his head back in disdain. "Fuck you, who the hell are you calling a bastard? C'mon, say it again, I dare you!"
A punk with a mohawk on the side also sneered at the guy in sunglasses, chiming in with a sneer, "Wearing sunglasses like a blind fuck, can't see our car, and still talking shit to us? Fuck off!"
The guy in sunglasses tilted his head slightly, glaring at the red-haired guy closest to him—the first one who had spoken—then suddenly, without warning, kicked him hard. "You motherfucker, you really asked for it!"
The red-haired guy was caught off guard and took the kick squarely to his stomach, causing him to stagger backward several steps, almost falling to the ground.
Seeing the guy in sunglasses made a move, the few around the red-haired guy got agitated instantly. Except for a girl who started making a phone call, the rest of the guys charged forward, clashing with the four people on the other side.
Curses, shouts, grunts, and the sound of fists and feet hitting flesh filled the air, but it was clear that the red-yellow-blue-green-haired guys from the van were no match for the group with the guy in sunglasses. Yet, despite this, they showed no signs of backing down.
After a few minutes of brawling, over a dozen oddly dressed young men came rushing over from the street, joining in to help the van guys against the sunglasses dude's group, creating an even more chaotic scene.
As these two groups were fully engaged in their brawl, the entire street's attention was fixated on the fight, watching the spectacle from a distance.
No one noticed that the fight was taking place around a parked Ferrari 458, which gradually became completely surrounded as the fight intensified.
Ten minutes passed before the police, having received a report, arrived on the scene. As soon as the patrol cars showed up, the red-yellow-blue-green-haired guys scattered like birds, and even the young men from the beginning abandoned their van, fleeing on foot.
And just like that, the brawl ended. Although the group with the guy in sunglasses had taken a few hits, it wasn't a big deal. The police took a look and, seeing nothing too serious, didn't say much, asked a few questions, and then left the scene.
After the police left, the guy in sunglasses and his crew got back into their Nissan. He glanced in the direction of the Ferrari 458 and flashed a cold smile.
After wrapping up the beach and yacht shoots, Chu Ge and the Qin Family sisters took the studio's car to a few more outdoor locations. By around 4 PM, they had completed all the planned outdoor shoots.
Compared to indoor shoots, outdoor shooting was much more exhausting. By the end of the day, all three of them were completely worn out, even the Qin Family sisters didn't look as lively as they did yesterday.
A little past 5 PM, the three returned to the studio, where Boss Shi, who had received the news, was waiting at the entrance. After exchanging some pleasantries, Qin Ruojing declined Boss Shi's offer to treat them to dinner, saying she didn't sleep well last night and just wanted to go home early for a good night's sleep.
Leaving the studio, Qin Ruoying mentioned that her feet were a bit sore and suggested sitting on a bench at the small square for a bit before heading home. Chu Ge and Qin Ruoying readily agreed.
As they sat on the bench for a short while, they noticed a few girls gathered inside several small European-style pavilions nearby, chatting away. Although their voices weren't loud, they were enough for Chu Ge and the Qin Family sisters to catch snippets of their conversation.
"Did you see how those kids today were acting all tough? They rear-ended someone's Nissan with a beat-up van and just started cursing. If it were me, I'd have apologized the moment I got out of the car."
"Oh, come on, would you really do that? If they had apologized right away, there wouldn't have been a fight, and we wouldn't have had this show to watch. But seriously, those kids were pretty intense, managing to call over more than ten people in such a short time. If it had been just those few from the start, they might have gotten beaten badly."
"Oh right, did you hear? Apparently, either yesterday or the day before, there was a brawl over at Shangpin Barbecue. Brother Leopard and a group of people got into it with some South Koreans. There were over twenty of them, and they got seriously beaten by just seven or eight Koreans. Can you believe how tough those Koreans were? But then they all got knocked down by one person!"
"Yeah, I've heard about it! My brother was in the area watching the fight. He said there's this guy called Elder Chu, Brother Leopard and his crew all called him Elder Chu. Man, their voices were so loud, you could hear them from two streets away."
"Really? Are you kidding me? Those hardcore people under Brother Leopard couldn't beat those Koreans, and he took them down by himself? This sounds too crazy to believe!"
"Of course... it should be true, right? My brother wouldn't make up such a wild story to lie to me, would he? It's not like he gains anything from it. But honestly, I also think it sounds ridiculous. Someone whom even Brother Leopard has to call 'Elder Chu,' yet I've never heard of such a person here in our Lidu?"
At first, when Chu Ge heard these girls chatting, he didn't pay much attention, figuring that gang fights were no news to him. But as he listened further, he realized that they were actually talking about him, leading him to feel at a loss for words.
Seriously? These girls must be really bored, right? Why talk about this stuff?
And of all times, it had to be when Qin Ruojing and Qin Ruoying were sitting right there beside him.
