CHAPTER 1182  SHI DOESN’T KNOW ELEMENTS

His disciple was in a pickle. It was the usual. Lith wasn't fazed. The way he turned into a scared kitten in his presence expressed his filial attitude. Though it seemed that his hormones were acting up lately. It wasn't an urgent matter so Lith put it in the back of his mind. "I can't tell whether you're failing or succeeding in the task I gave you." Lith commented after watching the group of Asuras behind Zhao Shi.

"I have succeeded! I have succeeded" Zhao Shi hurriedly said with a boastful smile.

"It's only a small group after me and Lucas. Everyone else is fighting with the EGC people."

Lith gave him a light nod. Zhao Shi seemed to have gotten a hang of using his bad luck to his advantage. He didn't compliment him much lest it got to his head and led him astray. "If you can smile like that, I can assume you're not dying anytime soon. Let me give you further instructions then." Lith nonchalantly said. "Eh!? Master, I might die! Just look at them!" Shi pointed the camera to an Asura with a bull's head charging towards him. He smashed his horns into the trees in front, obliterating every single obstacle to grab Zhao Shi's neck. If Zhao Shi was caught, his body may not be intact for a proper burial.

"Why don't you try flying?" Lith asked calmly.

Zhao Shi felt like crying when he heard that. "Master, I am an average human, not a god vampire like you. I don't have wings to fly!"

This dumbass… did he not know that he could use the Wind element to fly or use the necessary talismans? Lith questioned him about it. "What Wind element? What's that? And talismans are expensive, Master. I don't have that money." Zhao Shi complained while running. "Hm?" Lith raised his eyebrow. Shi didn't know about the Wind element? And he also had no money? There were multiple surprises here and it took even Lith a second to process everything. Eventually, he realized that Shi and Hyunsuk were from a completely different place. They were mortal humans without cultivation and only had their luck thing going on with them. Another thing was, he forgot to give both of them money as they would usually be accompanied by someone stronger from the clan and wouldn't need to worry about it. Now that Zhao Shi was paired with Lucas who didn't fully belong to the clan, Lith realized his disciple may have run out of his savings. What a hassle. "I'll send someone for your daily needs. Anyway, your next task is to direct everyone around you to the coordinates I am sending you."

Lith took a pause, remembering Zhao Shi's needs, and continued, "If you do a good job, I'll get you engaged to a pretty girl."

"What!?!" Zhao Shi couldn't believe his ears and froze in his tracks. "Idiot! Get moving!" Lucas's butt-kick sent him flying, making him lose the phone along the way. In the place Zhao Shi was a second ago, a yelling Asura came crashing down with a hammer. "Ouch!" Zhao Shi kissed the ground but immediately got up and began running. He lost his phone but made a few hand seals and got it back again. On the tablet screen Lith could see his disciple's face covered in dirt and dust. "M-master, are you for real?" He asked again. "Good luck." Lith let out a faint smile and didn't elaborate further, disconnecting. At the sides, Fei and Sylvia were both impressed to see this new side of their Master. They hadn't seen him with such varying emotions in a long time. "Are you thinking of becoming a pimp?" Fei blurted out her without thinking much, gaining herself a sharp pinch on her buttocks. "Owwwww!" "Stop spouting nonsense." Lith rolled his eyes and gave the tablet to Sylvia, asking her to connect it to Roy.

"My disciple only has me. I have to look after him." While rubbing her behind and feeling wronged, Fei said, "But won't that make Master a…"

She was about to say pimp again but stopped. "Cupid is the word you're looking for." Sylvia helped Fei not get another punishment. She was still tapping on the tablet, trying to connect to Roy. Lith shook his head. "I am not being a Love Cupid. But he and Hyunsuk both are my responsibilities so I'll naturally look into their interests. Hyunsuk may not have a problem, but Shi…"

Lith firmly believed that even if Zhao Shi went door to door in Nightingale, boasted himself as the Vampire Prince's disciple and asked for a girl's hand in marriage, he would still not get anyone. His luck was just that bad. At the mention of Hyunsuk, Lith paused. His face turned solemn, and another second later, he sighed. Fei and Sylvia could feel a reoccurring sadness. His wives and his disciple with good luck were gone. He didn't know how long it would take until he reunited with them. "Miss Sylvia?" Roy's voice was heard as he came on the line. Lith took the tablet from her and Roy greeted him upon notice. "Spare the formalities. How's the situation there?" Lith asked. "Let me show you." Roy switched his phone's camera and Lith could see multiple groups of Asuras fighting against the vampires of EGC. They fought in patches due to the vampires scattering and giving them a hard time. "Look at that particular Asura." Roy pointed to a man in heavy armor smashing his club on a Vampire and bursting his head. "He seems particularly strong." Lith assessed. Roy agreed with a nod. "Continue to look."

Moments later, a shadowy appearance flashed in front of the man and he disappeared. Roy then pointed at multiple strong Asuras who were then met with the same fate. "This is the Sixth Pillar's doing." Roy didn't let Lith be in suspense and said. "We are close to making our way to the top of the volcano. If nothing goes wrong, we should be able to capture this gate in a week."

Lith nodded in understanding. "Keep it up and try to cause as much damage as possible. The Asura Royals are on the move, so be prepared."

There wasn't anything more that had to be said. Roy was a smart man and he understood what he had to do next. "Do you have intel on another gate?" Lith asked as he rubbed his chin. "None so far. We only know about three which are this one, the Hollow Glacier, and the Verdant Labyrinth." Roy said as he watched more Asuras get abducted. "Who's overseeing the other two gates?"

"There are a few EGC pillars in both areas." Roy wasn't fully in the know and could only give rough information. "Alright. Do you know the two gates' location?" "I'll send over the coordinates. But please beware, those areas are harsh and unforgiving with the most elite troops fighting each other." Roy warned as he wiped the sweat off his forehead. The temperature was surprisingly hotter now. Lith gave him a curt nod and parted ways shortly after. He put away the tablet and said to Fei and Sylvia, "Let's go. We'll head over to the Hollow Glacier first and see what's happening. If we can, we'll cause the Asuras more trouble so they divert their attention away from their internal matters."
