CHAPTER 307: CHAPTER 306: INCREASE IN COMBAT POWER

Scientists believe that with four Unified Force Modules installed on a Black Entropy Ball, it should be possible to form a complete Unified Force Field core device.

The Variable Gathering Field is also known as a weakened version of the Unified Force Field because it is a degenerate form of the Unified Force Field.

The difference between these two types of equipment lies in the fact that the Unified Force Field can control any one of the Four Basic Forces, the secondary forces formed by combining two Basic Forces, the secondary forces formed by combining three Basic Forces, or even the Unified Force formed by combining all four forces, controlling each one at will; but the Variable Gathering Field, lacking the relevant technology for the Unified Force, cannot use the Unified Force nor fuse it, only controlling the Four Basic Forces and the secondary forces formed by them, which is why the Variable Gathering Field is termed a weakened version.

Moreover, the structure of Variable Gathering Field is also similar to that of the Unified Force Field.

This similarity is actually inevitable since scientists were inspired by the Unified Force device.

Thus, the Variable Gathering Field is also composed of four modules, each running one of the Basic Forces. When operating or needed, the four modules exchange particles to utilize the secondary forces, acting as a weakened version of the Unified Force Modules, since each Unified Force Module operates on the Unified Force.

Although the Variable Gathering Field has been developed, it does not greatly benefit current biological civilizations as the device is still too large to be directly shaped into weapons or other conventional applications, and is primarily of research interest. Nevertheless, scientists thought that since Constant Star Lu Chen could utilize the Unified Force Modules, he might also be able to use the Variable Gathering Field, so they decided to install the Variable Gathering Field around Constant Star Lu Chen.

After all, these two devices serve similar functions in certain areas.

However, to install the Variable Gathering Field around Constant Star Lu Chen, temperature factors must be considered; fortunately, Dark Gold was developed just in time.

Thus, scientists used Dark Gold to construct the power modules, and specially built four Dark Gold Satellites using Dark Gold, loading the four modules onto the Dark Gold Satellites and launching them around Constant Star Lu Chen.

Whenever Constant Star Lu Chen needs to enhance the Gravity Strength using the Variable Gathering Field, he only needs to let his Intentions enter the activation area in the Dark Gold modules to activate the respective modules. This actually involves another project being researched by the Wandering Alliance, which is the shape of life and mysteries of Intentions in Celestial Civilization. Moreover, the Wandering Alliance wants to verify a possibility once suggested by the Double Star Civilization, that there might be a transition possibility between Celestial Civilization and biological civilization.

In conclusion, once Constant Star Lu Chen obtained the Variable Gathering Field, he effectively received a more flexible Unified Force Stone.

To test the effects of the Variable Gathering Field, Constant Star Lu Chen had the scientist team of the Wandering Alliance observe whether there were any Wu Yizi Constant Stars nearby along the forward flight path.

Luckily, the material abundance in the Star Zone Universe is much higher than that in the Sky Zone Universe, and in no time, the scientific team locked onto the nearest Wu Yizi Constant Star.

This Constant Star has a mass of three thousand Constant Star Masses, with hydrogen making up 72 percent, very similar to the hydrogen composition of the Sun, which suggests it has been alive for approximately four to five billion years, making it an extremely suitable testing target.

The sight of Constant Star Lu Chen slowing down and then leading the entire massive Wandering Star System to descend above the Constant Star, from the perspective of the Universe, looked like a colossal Star Disk crushing down on a bright pearl, creating a visually impactful scene!

When they were five astronomical units away from this Constant Star, Constant Star Lu Chen stopped.

Immediately, Lu Chen, controlling his own Intention module, activated the Variable Gathering Field. As soon as the Variable Gathering Field was activated, Lu Chen’s gravity transformed into a soaring fire phoenix, and with a few flaps of its wings, it flew straight to that Constant Star, biting fiercely onto the high-temperature hydrogen on the Constant Star Body, and then desperately flapping its wings to tear the continuous hydrogen away from the Constant Star Body...

This was an extremely shocking and magical scene!

The high-temperature hydrogen was pulled away from the body by an invisible, strong gravity, turning into an orange wind dragon roaring towards the other end of the universe, and after crossing five astronomical units, it finally surged back onto the body of Constant Star Lu Chen, even causing intense activity in the corona layer.

However, due to the long distance between the two Constant Stars, after the high-temperature hydrogen separated from the body for a certain distance, its temperature would inevitably drop. Thus, the long giant wind dragon displayed two colors; the front half was orange, and the rear half green. To the people on Earth, it seemed like a breathtakingly beautiful cosmic rainbow bridge, evoking a longing in the heart.

Eventually, Constant Star Lu Chen successfully plundered all the hydrogen from that Constant Star using the Variable Gathering Field. Based on the hydrogen composition of that Constant Star, its hydrogen was about two thousand Constant Star Masses, which meant that Lu Chen’s mass had now increased to 194,500 Constant Star Masses, with slight improvements in various characteristics.

After this test, Constant Star Lu Chen gained a comprehensive understanding of the Variable Gathering Field.

This Variable Gathering Field indeed proved to be somewhat superior to the damaged Unified Force Stone module. Of course, that’s strictly in terms of gravity since the Unified Force Module has many other functions, but previously Lu Chen could only use the Unified Force Module to enhance gravity due to the lack of technological assistance. With the current Variable Gathering Field, the aspect of gravity was much stronger. Firstly, the strength of gravity; the damaged Unified Force Module could at most enhance up to a three-fold limit, but the Variable Gathering Field could enhance up to five times; also, the effective range of the gravity has become much further. According to the recent test, the minimum distance for the gravity strength to plunder the hydrogen of a Constant Star of three thousand Constant Star masses is five astronomical units, whereas previously, not even one astronomical unit was possible.

However, that’s not the most critical part.

The most weighty part is that the Variable Gathering Field is based on Lu Chen’s own Constant Star Gravity Field and is unified with it, capable of directly applying the increased gravity onto high-speed moving celestial bodies, and unlike the previous Unified Force Module which suffered some functionality damage, the Gravity Increment effect could only work on single-point suction rather than an overall gravitational pull, which makes a significant fundamental difference.

Put simply, the Unified Force Module was like a "sniper rifle" with a damaged sight, and the scientists of the Wandering Alliance, through research and imitation, have now manufactured a brand new "sniper rifle"!
