Wandering Meteor
Chapter 382 - 381: Annihilating the Black Hole
CHAPTER 382: CHAPTER 381: ANNIHILATING THE BLACK HOLE
Seeing this scene, Constant Star Lu Chen was not surprised at all.
Because he didn’t think that the Crown Hole Beam could hurt or annihilate the Quasar, even though the energy level of the Crown Hole Beam was very high, limited by the energy hierarchy, it was still difficult to destroy a Quasar.
Moreover, this was not his purpose for taking action.
The main reason Constant Star Lu Chen took action this time was to coordinate with the Wandering Alliance’s Planet Battle Stars in executing tactics.
Before Constant Star Lu Chen took action, they had actually already discussed it: Constant Star Lu Chen would use the Crown Hole Beam to contain the Quasar, while Eternal Life and Science and Martial Battle Stars would use Flow Base Disassembly to deliver a fatal blow to the Quasar.
Although the power of Flow Base Disassembly was great enough to annihilate Black Holes, its way of attacking was not as extensive as that of the Absolute Zero Domain. Therefore, in actual combat with the Quasar, the offensive actions of the Wandering Alliance were mostly avoided by the Quasar’s Central Black Hole, which was one of the reasons the war had lasted so long.
If they could restrain the Quasar for a moment, it would create a tremendous opportunity for the Planet Battle Stars. That’s why Constant Star Lu Chen took action. His Crown Hole Beam had an energy level high enough to limit the movements of the Quasar’s Central Black Hole to some extent.
Capitalizing on the opportunity created by Constant Star Lu Chen, fifty Battle Stars from Eternal Life and Science and Martial aligned around the Quasar’s Central Black Hole, resembling a larger Battle Star Crown.
Following this, all fifty Battle Stars launched their ultimate weapons simultaneously, and one could immediately see streaks of Flow Base Disassembly shooting mightily towards the Central Black Hole, passing through and turning into conspicuous dark rivers of fluid!
Faced with this situation, the Quasar was somewhat overwhelmed.
Despite its formidable combat power, it was, after all, just a sphere. Facing the numerous Wandering Alliance, it slowly fell into a quagmire of disadvantage.
Previously, it could always rely on its superior combat power to easily defeat enemies, but this time, the enemy was clearly strong. As the war entered a prolonged confrontation phase, the disadvantages of being isolated became increasingly apparent. This was the first time it felt the advantages of being outnumbered. It had always believed that numbers were useless and only served as cannon fodder, but now it had indeed been taught a lesson by the Wandering Alliance.
To deal with the current situation, the Quasar had no choice but to continue absorbing the Crown Hole Beams sent by Constant Star Lu Chen while using Gravity control to manipulate the surrounding Accretion Disk material.
Under the stir of Black Hole Gravity, vast amounts of Accretion Disk material surged like stormy clouds. Above the Central Black Hole, where Black Hole and Battle Star were in between, a thick arc-shaped cloud layer was built up.
Its idea was simple: to use a large amount of matter to weaken, or even block, the energy level and attacking force of the Flow Base Disassembly.
Furthermore, the Quasar, who always preferred to attack and not just defend, also controlled the outermost Accretion Disk material with Gravity, causing these vast materials to rise against the flow, encapsulating all of the Wandering Alliance’s Planet Battle Stars, including Constant Star Lu Chen, as if a cloud beast adept at camouflage suddenly began to harvest.
From a cosmic perspective, as the material at the edge of the Quasar transitioned from vertical to horizontal rotation, the Quasar gradually changed from an upright, flat shape into a huge spherical shape, almost as if transforming from a two-dimensional body into a three-dimensional one.
This highlighted the Quasar’s reputation as one of the most powerful entities in the Universe, with rich combat experience. Even under such disadvantage, it still conceived a strategy that integrated both offense and defense.
It first created a buffer zone on the surface of the Black Hole to counter the Flow Base Disassembly, and then controlled the outer Accretion Disk material to fold upwards and encircle the enemy. With this, once the Quasar survived this crisis, it would spell the doomsday for the Wandering Alliance.
The Quasar’s plan was sound, but unfortunately, it underestimated the Wandering Alliance’s combat capability and the might of the Flow Base Disassembly.
The thick, colorful cloud layers that the Quasar constructed on the surface of the Black Hole couldn’t withstand the Flow Base Disassembly; upon contact, they turned directly into eerie fluid lakes. And because there were many Flow Base Disassembly weapons this time, even if the thick clouds really neutralized some, they couldn’t stop them all.
Ultimately, thirty streams of Flow Base Disassembly rushed unfettered towards the Quasar’s Central Black Hole.
"Damn it, how can you possibly..." Facing the thirty streams of Flow Base Disassembly converging from all directions, the Quasar’s Central Black Hole was completely sealed off. Considering that Constant Star Lu Chen had been using the Crown Hole Beam to restrain it, the Quasar clearly foresaw its own demise, and it roared unwillingly, but before it could finish speaking, it was directly hit by the thirty streams of Flow Base Disassembly and became a fluid state.
Following the fall of the Quasar’s Central Black Hole, the surrounding Accretion Disk material also underwent a sudden change. Originally, these materials were rotating due to the restraint of the Black Hole’s Gravity, but now that the Black Hole suddenly disappeared and Gravity’s restraint was gone, these materials were captured by Constant Star Lu Chen, the largest mass present, resulting in a rather rare transition shift of the center of gravity in the Universe.
One could see in the starry sky that a large amount of Accretion Disk material fell towards Constant Star Lu Chen, forming a magnificent scene of myriad rivers merging into the sea.
"Phew, it’s finally over, the war has ended!"
After annihilating the Quasar’s Central Black Hole, all members of the Wandering Alliance simultaneously let out a sigh of relief, feeling relaxed at once.
They had fought this battle for too long and it had been extremely difficult. Everyone knew the victory did not come easily, but fortunately, all the efforts had paid off. They had eliminated the Quasar’s Central Black Hole on their own, and the massive Accretion Disk materials were their spoils of war, which was a far greater gain than the last victory over the Electromagnetic Civilization.
However, Constant Star Lu Chen didn’t seem as happy as the others and couldn’t help but sigh, "What a shame, what a shame!"
"We’ve just annihilated a Black Hole-level Celestial Civilization, what is there to regret?" Green Star asked confusedly.
Constant Star Lu Chen said, "Think about it, a Black Hole, how massive that would be. If it could also be absorbed into the Wandering Star System, then the growth of the Wandering Star System would definitely be enormous. With that, we would have greater assurance in facing this Cosmic Crisis."
Green Star couldn’t help but be at a loss for laughter.
He really hadn’t expected Constant Star Lu Chen to have such ambitions.
But, he felt that Constant Star Lu Chen wasn’t wrong. Although the material from the Accretion Disk was already quite abundant, the biggest part of a Quasar in terms of mass was the Central Black Hole. This was true not only for Quasars but also for any complex celestial structure in the Universe; its center of mass lies in the center, otherwise, it could not form a whirlpool-like structure in motion.
