Wandering Meteor
Chapter 520 - 519: Baby Universe?
CHAPTER 520: CHAPTER 519: BABY UNIVERSE?
"Is there really such a thing?"
Not just Black Hole Lu Chen, but the other scientists in the Black Hole research team were also very surprised.
Then, the members of the entire Black Hole research team gathered in front of the detection screen, seemingly in disbelief, wanting to personally confirm.
On the vast detection screen, countless white light points densely packed the surface; these light points were all Celestial Consciousness from Black Hole Lu Chen, and this detection device was a professional device specially developed by the Wandering Alliance to detect Celestial Consciousness. At this moment, the range of this device just happened to envelop Black Hole Lu Chen, so the movements of the Celestial Consciousness inside Black Hole Lu Chen could be observed.
However, there was one point that made the scientists very puzzled.
That was the distribution of the Celestial Consciousness, which showed all the Celestial Consciousness chaotically scattered within the black hole, nearly filling the entire black hole including the outermost event horizon, but only the core region of the Black Hole Ball had no Celestial Consciousness whatsoever.
This was clearly not normal.
Moreover, when Black Hole Lu Chen once again controlled the Celestial Consciousness to enter the White Hole, the part of Celestial Consciousness that had just approached the core of the Black Hole Ball indeed disappeared again on the detection screen.
In light of this situation, the scientists of the Black Hole research project team sat down to discuss.
Scientist A first said: "I wonder if everyone still remembers the last time we defeated the Dense Civilization, when we intended to use the Celestial Body Capture Device to capture their black hole, but unexpectedly the attempt failed. At the time, we did not know the reason, but looking at it now, it might really have something to do with white holes."
Scientist B said: "According to White Hole Theory, white holes are formed when the massive gravitational pull of black holes completely tears space, causing irreparable or irreversible conditions, and the coordinates of white holes are not in the same space as black holes, belonging to an independent space. Therefore, when the Celestial Body Capture Device, which cuts space, is at work, it will naturally fail, since the Celestial Body Capture Device can cut space within a certain range, but cannot cross another parallel space to work. This was the most plausible explanation at the time, and judging from the current actual situation, it is very likely the case."
Scientist B continued: "The scientific community has always speculated about parallel universes, but even as we reached a Level Five civilization, we still haven’t found the entrance to a parallel universe. Could it be that the entrance to parallel universes lies within black holes? If that is true, it would explain why we have never been able to find the entrance, since very few would imagine that the terrifying black holes might be the passageways to parallel universes."
Scientist C countered: "Although this explanation is self-consistent, it lacks scientific evidence to prove it, and the logic chain is not sufficiently robust. If we say that white holes are indeed another parallel universe, what is the relationship between this parallel universe and the universe we are in? Where do the matter and energy of the parallel universe come from? After all, everyone knows that to create a vast universe, the required matter cannot just be an astronomical figure. Furthermore, if black holes are indeed passageways to parallel universes, does that mean every black hole in the universe corresponds to a parallel universe? Wouldn’t that be too many? And since black holes are formed at different times, the lifespans and states of the parallel universes must also differ, so how can these parallel universes form a corresponding cyclical relationship with our universe?"
"Therefore, I believe that the white holes within black holes are definitely not parallel universes, but just a special space. Even if it really is a parallel universe, I believe the circumstances of this parallel universe would definitely differ from those in science fiction novels, at least not existing phenomena like another me."
Scientist D took over the topic: "That’s for sure. The concept of parallel universes emerged mainly because of the factor of time. At that time, people believed that time had past, present, and future states, and the world and universe under the shroud of each moment of time is a parallel universe interrelated with each other. This was the original origin of the concept of parallel universes. But ever since we confirmed that time particles do not exist and time is just an objective process that people use to describe the abstract movement of matter, the argument for parallel universes collapsed. As you said, even if white holes really are parallel universes, they definitely are not what we understand by parallel universes."
Scientist C nodded: "Yes, that’s right, we still know too little about white holes."
"Not just white holes, actually our understanding of black holes is not much either!" Scientist E sighed.
Scientist D laughed and said: "Take it slow, now we have a ready-made black hole, and our technological level has reached that of a Level Five civilization. I believe we will soon perfect the theory in this area and find out all the truths. This is also the lifelong dream of us, the aspirants of science."
"According to what I observed inside the white hole, it’s indeed unlikely that white holes are the parallel universes we previously imagined. Let alone life, not even matter has formed..."
Black Hole Lu Chen was halfway through speaking when he suddenly discovered a shocking situation: "Not good, I can’t sense the Celestial Consciousness inside the white hole anymore, no matter what, I just can’t feel it, it’s as if the connection has been completely lost!"
This situation caught the attention of the scientists, and the focus of the discussion shifted from parallel universes to the missing Celestial Consciousness.
After some thinking and discussion, the scientists believed that the loss of contact with Celestial Consciousness should be a normal situation, because black holes and white holes are two different spaces, and due to the interdependent relationship between the two, the energy and matter entering the white hole cannot choose to return, becoming completely a part of the white hole space, so the loss of contact conforms to scientific logic.
However, regarding the reason for the loss of contact, the scientists were divided into two factions, with two opinions.
The first opinion was about space separation, because black holes and white holes are different spaces, and a person or object can’t possibly exist separately in both at the same time. This is like cutting a person in half; both halves of the body will gradually die.
Of course, this is just a metaphor. Celestial Consciousness is not the same as a body; Celestial Consciousness can exist independently in a particle state, so Black Hole Lu Chen dividing a small part of Celestial Consciousness is not the same as splitting in half and will not result in death on both sides, but the part that entered the white hole is probably doomed.
The second opinion was about the environment of the white hole - this faction of scientists believed that the independent white hole is more likely to be a nascent space, or a baby universe, which should be currently evolving, and during the evolution process, it needs matter and energy, so the temperature inside the white hole is extraordinarily high, and it will slowly engulf and dissolve the matter that enters it.
This is also one of the reasons why Celestial Consciousness wasn’t immediately lost but only after a little while.
