The data of Dark Faust is extremely powerful, almost on par with the elite warriors of the Land of Light.

Even without any enhancements, her initial combat power is comparable to the Dark Giant Daram when he was first summoned.

Within the Dark Domain, your own combat power is greatly enhanced, light-attribute enemies are weakened, and you can use dark energy to corrupt opponents.

Dark Faust was created by Dark Mephisto. She has no intelligence of her own.

Unlike Daram, she lacks a personality, so she must have a human host to act.

So who should be her host?

Elena is out—she's better suited for a Giant of Light.

Dark Faust comes from Dark Mephisto, who was created by Dark Zagi. Zagi's power rivals that of Noa—the ultimate darkness.

The system has made it clear: unless you have light energy as strong as the Four Mysterious Ultras, you can't purify these giants.

Elena will appear before the Imperial masses in the future, so a Dark Giant's identity isn't suitable. That leaves the two eldar girls.

Yvraine and Lelith—either could inherit Dark Faust.

Rhodes thought for a moment, then called both of them in to ask if they wanted to merge with the Dark Giant.

After Rhodes summoned them, Yvraine and Lelith quickly arrived.

"What is it, dear? Why the rush?" Lelith asked.

Lelith herself was in control; the goddess of life only takes over for six hours a day unless necessary.

Rhodes explained: "I have a new Dark Giant body. But it's special, an empty shell without a soul. Are either of you interested in merging with it?"

He summoned Dark Faust: a tall, black-red-silver giant with dark eyes, radiating suffocating darkness.

The two girls' eyes lit up. They knew how powerful Dark Giants were—even stronger than cosmic beasts.

Yvraine said, "Shouldn't you offer good things to Elena first? She's your official wife."

But both she and Lelith already have cosmic beasts, so it doesn't seem suitable for them.

"We've already merged with cosmic beasts. Maybe we should pass on the Dark Giant?" Lelith said.

"What are you two thinking? Who said you can't have both cosmic beast and giant powers?" Rhodes said, exasperated.

Even after merging with a cosmic beast, you can still merge with a giant.

This time, merging with Dark Faust isn't like with Daram—you don't become a human host.

Dark Faust has no self-awareness—she's an artificial lifeform, so whoever merges with her becomes her true self.

To convert such a giant, you'd need light power on par with Dark Zagi's or some equivalent force.

Rhodes guessed only the Emperor could do that, and even he couldn't possess a Dark Giant's body—if he tried, he might become the Dark King.

There are many ways to save the Emperor, but the Dark King scenario is a major obstacle—even Leman Russ with the Tree of Life can't fully save him.

"Trust me, Rhodes, I'm the best fit. My power can assimilate this giant," Aisha insisted.

Besides, the Emperor isn't the Dark King until he leaves the Golden Throne—he's just close to the Chaos Gods' level, not quite there.

So her chaos divine power could convert the giant. Even though she was converting her chaos power to order power with the cosmic beast, shedding chaos isn't something that happens overnight. And the Dark Giant's shell is even more suitable for her transformation than the cosmic beast.

"Once I have this body, I'll have a real shell to exist in the physical universe. I won't need Lelith's body anymore—I can give her back her freedom," Aisha said.

"What about our child? You're carrying new life," Rhodes frowned.

Rhodes considered, then nodded. "All right. Just be careful, Isha. If you can't merge, get out right away—these dark powers are strong."

The Goddess of Life was right; Lelith had been pregnant over three years, her life force drained constantly. If not for the goddess's support, she'd be long gone. Super life forms bearing god-children is tough—better to let Isha do it.

And inheriting giant powers is important, too.
