History has always been biased.

Whether it was when Qin conquer the six kingdoms, or when Han take the legacy of Qin, or when the Wei dynasty usurp Han, or when Sima family usurp Wei and establish Jin, all of them are biased.

Hence smart people knows not to always praise those who are praised in history.

Sometimes, the one that was exiled and was denigrated all of their life is the true great man while the one standing high on the court and praised by the literati suck the blood of the people and yet still praised

Because who praised them?

The common people has always been the name these “great” men uses to justify their usurpation of power or their reason to fight

But just like the great Steppe has some difference from the Great Steppe of his world, this Yan dynasty which almost looks like the same replica of the Han dynasty also have differences.

The one who won the world is not called Liu but Jiang.

This is the starkest difference.
