He picked only the quality Demon Cores and tossed them to the Jedi Knight and Demigod Shana, encouraging them to continuously consume the cores.

Suddenly, blue Light Flames ignited on Demigod Shana’s body; after consuming a few high-quality Demon Cores, he finally ascended to level C.

While ascending, Demigod Shana continued to battle fiercely, neither his gun nor broadsword ever pausing.

The multitude of beasts couldn’t break the mountaintop’s defenses, and seeing that the Jedi Knight and others still had strength left, Li Xiu redirected his attention to examining the Spirit-Eating Tree and the vase bearing Blood Bamboo.

The Vase Monster claimed his consciousness had merged with the Spirit-Eating Tree, rendering his physical body useless.

Yet, this statement seemed odd; if his physical form was truly unnecessary, why hadn’t he fully integrated his consciousness into the Spirit-Eating Tree?

Perhaps he was wary of his consciousness being too strong, wanting to disperse some of it. This, however, seemed illogical.

The only reasonable explanation could be that the Vase Monster lacked the ability to entirely transfer his consciousness into the Spirit-Eating Tree, or he dreaded doing so.

The reasons likely involved the Spirit-Eating Tree or the vase and the Blood Bamboo within it.

Previously, Li Xiu attempted but struggled to destroy the Spirit-Eating Tree, so now he focused on the Blood Bamboo inside the vase.

Li Xiu wielded the Fire Lotus Sword, approaching the vase’s opening, relieved that the vase interior was spotless. He pressed one hand against the opening and used the sword in the other hand to jab inside, trying to sever the Blood Bamboo.

He stabbed repeatedly, causing clanging noises as the blade struck Blood Bamboo, yet it failed to leave any marks on the bamboo.
