At noon on the second day, a violent wave appeared in the sky, like the rumbling of thunder, exploding in everyone’s ears and drawing them all in.

Here the scenery was quite strange, as Edge Corner Airspace was mostly endless void, with virtually no land in sight— even cities scarcely had solid ground. But the moment the seal of Common Valley broke, it was as if everyone was suddenly drawn in; one moment they stood in the void, the next they were on this land.

They couldn’t see the void anymore!

Everyone was stunned, the sudden disappearance of the void catching them off guard.

In their minds, they ought to still be standing outside Common Valley in the void, not yet having stepped into it. But Common Valley seemed to expand, suddenly encompassing them, while the void disappeared.

Originally, they had gathered here, intending to wait for the Dao Palace’s arrangements. Normally, they were supposed to patiently wait, then the people from the Dao Palace would appear, announce the rules, arrange for each race to send three people, and then enter Common Valley.

This should have been the standard procedure.

However, the people from Dao Palace never appeared, yet everyone was pulled inside, catching them off guard.

What was going on here?

Everyone was a bit bewildered, looking around hopefully to find someone from Dao Palace to give an explanation, at the very least, to clarify the situation.

But there was not a single person from Dao Palace around.

From start to finish, no experts from the Dao Palace showed up.
