CHAPTER 1511: CHAPTER 211: AIWASS’S SOLUTION TO THE DEADLOCK

June 24th, Parthian Ancient Country, Dawn City.

When Aiwass made up his mind, he immediately burst forth with astonishing determination—

The various affairs of Dawn City were methodically arranged: the task of coordinating with the Goblin Commerce Association to build the underground sewer was assigned to Isabel, while the coordination with the Avianfolk was handed off to Ligeia. Aiwass personally penned several promotional articles and had them revised by Ibn, a local.

The ritual defenses of Dawn City were personally hosted and constructed by Aiwass and Zhu Tang, while the education and discipline of the slaves and free people who came seeking refuge were organized by Senior Hayna under Aiwass’s arrangement.

Sherlock was responsible for using spells to maintain the city’s water supply until the construction of the underground sewer was completed. He also needed to act as the Benevolent Lords of Dawn City during Aiwass’s absence.

Everything was meticulously organized by Aiwass.

And that was just the preparatory work—

As for Aiwass himself,

He took Lily, mounted the ever-growing Leviathan, and quietly headed towards Heaven City.

Selene’s power level wasn’t high, so Aiwass left her behind, only taking her summoned creature, Shasha.

Leviathan, nicknamed "Shasha," could in some way be considered the offspring of Aleister and Selene—it was created by the Moon Witch Selene, and its material originated from Aleister’s blood. Now that Aleister had acquired the Authority of the Blood Celestial Marshal, she had the capability to reconstruct her "offspring."

Aleister didn’t reforge Leviathan into something as terrifying and hideous as a dragon. Instead, she bestowed upon it a second body resembling a human—allowing it to travel with Selene in a form similar to Aiwass’s Great Beasts, thus fitting inside the carriage.

In its magical beast form, Leviathan appeared as a monster with a scorpion-like, shark-like tail, covered in deep blue and purple scales. It had two scythe-like claws capable of easily slicing, cutting, and shredding enemies. In a normal state, its pupils were a deep sea-like blue, but once in battle mode, both its pupils and scales turned blood red, and it lost the ability to speak.

Aiwass particularly liked Shasha’s travel form—a little girl with long dark blue hair and eyes.

Her appearance, just like her voice, was immature, seeming no more than seven or eight years old, and she was full of curiosity and wonder about many things.

As for her outward appearance... Possibly due to Aleister’s personal touches and obsessions, or perhaps because Selene essentially provided only moonlight in creating Leviathan, Shasha bears at least a seventy to eighty percent resemblance to Aleister, although more youthful. The similarity was such that if they appeared together, one would likely mistake them for sisters.

As usual, Lily lurked within Aiwass’s shadow. Hence, from an outside perspective, it seemed as though Aiwass had only brought Shasha on this outing.

He minimized the scale of his operation to the greatest extent possible, even creating the illusion he was still in Dawn City.

And all of this was the strategy formed by Aiwass after an entire night of discussions with Sherlock—

Sherlock helped Aiwass sort through his thoughts.

In the conflict between the Red Hand Gang and the Benevolent Lords, should either side face imminent defeat, they would activate the Ring of Ouroboros to summon the Abyssal Celestial Envoy... This sort of deadlock mechanism, akin to a Cold War nuclear standoff, ensures that both parties can mutually destroy each other. Either both survive, or both perish; there’s no third outcome.

This also means Aiwass could side with neither.

From the very beginning, Aiwass needed to oppose everyone.

—And the key point was, Aiwass’s core demand wasn’t actually to prevent the arrival of the Abyssal Celestial Envoy, as he needed its arrival to complete the first round of the Ring of Ouroboros.

Aiwass’s core demand was ensuring that the descent of the Abyssal Celestial Envoy didn’t lead to the simultaneous death of countless innocents.

The primary difficulty in this demand was that the Benevolent Lords wouldn’t allow the populace to leave while the Red Hand Gang rampaged, nor would the people follow Aiwass to leave.

Given so, the breaking point lay in—how to achieve Aiwass’s goal bypassing both the will of the Benevolent Lords and the populace.

The answer was simple.

—It was the ritual that the Benevolent Lords of Heaven City had recently developed.

The ritual powerful enough to petrify the entire city, halting time!

Aiwass, Zhu Tang, and Ibn, three Ritualists at the Fifth Power Level, should be able to jointly perform this ritual. If not, Aiwass could participate in the advancement ritual, temporarily sacrificing the balance of the Path to first elevate the Transcendence Path to the Sixth Power Level. Alternatively, Vinesse’s power could transform the Benevolent Lord of Heaven City into a demon loyal to her, compelling them to conduct this ritual themselves.

And once the core of this ritual was obtained, Aiwass would possess the potential to freeze other city-states—

Just like Eagle Cape Village, city-states solidified by Amber power would naturally gain the power to "preserve events." The Amber Path itself already surpasses the Taboo Path, just as adaptation surpasses hunting, authority surpasses strength, and force surpasses consumption.

This restraining relationship is mostly clear-cut, except for the peculiar mix of the Path of Love and the Beast’s Path—the concept of "love" hasn’t fully surpassed the instincts of "beast."

Thus, the destructive power of the Abyssal Celestial Envoy, under the protection of Amber power, would struggle to manifest. With the Envoy’s primary goal not being mass slaughter, the likelihood of successfully resisting the aftermath increases.

Just like the city of Atlantis under the sea... These city-states will remain in a petrified state, submerged by the ocean.

When Aiwass vanquishes the Abyssal Celestial Envoy and obtains the Celestial Marshal Shard, he can command the sea to recede. At that time, he can use the previously developed reverse ritual to depetrify these people.

As for the Troll Wizards who distributed contracts as "child nodes of the maternal router," Aiwass can, through Vinesse’s power... summon or transform a portion of demons to substitute them.

This isn’t even a mere replacement or downgrade. After all, compared to Troll Wizards, demons inherently embody the Phantom Demon of the Transcendence Path.

Now that demons have lost their Mark of Sin, their power has greatly diminished. Most demons’ powers will gradually fall below the Fourth Power Level, while the powers of the original Upper-Level Demons will continue to contract.

Though the death of the Fallen Celestial Marshal has stripped Demon Scholars of their power, thus losing the ability to summon demons... What does this have to do with a Great Sin Scholar?

—My profession doesn’t draw from the Fallen Celestial Marshal, but from the Serpent Celestial Marshal!

And the weakening of the demons’ power under these circumstances turned into an advantage—for Aiwass found it easier to summon these now-weakened demons, and to control them through Vinesse’s Authority.

Considering this, Aiwass found it inexplicably ironic:

A curse ignited by life and soul as fuel;

A desecration ritual that steals the Pillar God’s power without permission;

Taboo knowledge tested with countless human lives by the slave owners;

War ordnance designed specifically for efficient slaughter;

Demons formed from the dead sinners of Great Sin;

Along with the thefts, robberies, violence, and coercion Aiwass prepared to enact—

—These utterly sinful acts, when gathered together, turned out to be the only way to save Parthia!
