Even the direction of this conversation was entirely different from what he had expected, primarily because Ethan was so polite; he even brought a basket of fruit to visit him. If it were the King of Gold...

He would have straightforwardly stated his demands, treating every dissenter as a plaything.

However, the manager found it difficult to answer the question for a moment. In theory, exploring abnormal dimensions was under the guild administration's jurisdiction, with no need to consult a station manager like him. But then he realized Ethan's identity was a bit delicate.

According to Yoda, Ethan's battle with the King of Gold had been witnessed by the Goddess, and both parties had made a contract.

Ethan nodded. That item, resembling a personal magic book, was referred to by her as the investigation manual. Its interface looked like a character and social panel from a game, recording her basic personal information—B-level investigator, pure-blood human, working at Station 003, from the abnormal dimension: Golden Land, timeline: Year 402.

"Oh? Su, she's still alive?"

The manager of Station 003 naturally remembered this B-level investigator skilled in survival. They had presumed Su, like Zack and Zul'gara, had perished in the abnormal dimension, yet once again, she miraculously survived.

It seems this investigator adept at survival indeed has some skills.

"She expressed a desire to remain there. If we can proxy the magic net, we also need an experienced investigator to inform others on the relevant knowledge."

"Su is fully capable."

"But there's still one issue: she has taken over a student's body."

"That's easily resolved. Station 003 can immediately recall her and then dispatch her to your location in an official capacity... Of course, in her own identity. According to some insiders, this was influenced by an exceptional entity of that dimension. Multiple clues indicate that this entity caused the death of the King of Gold. However, during communication with the manager of Station 003, the entity displayed a positive and enthusiastic attitude, describing a regime called the "Empire" within the Rusty Throat as a livable area.

If not for considering the description by the entity of the abnormal dimension, this "undefined" would have been changed to a "dead zone."

Counting the history, at least two guild administrators have already died in that dimension, so anyone can see that it's an extremely dangerous place. Thus, many investigators outside Station 003 unanimously believe that the entity's series of introductions were deceptive, aimed to lure them over to be killed.

Meanwhile, Su's recent academy life has not been smooth.

She felt as though she had experienced a long dream, with her consciousness intermittently active in the world of dreams, only to wake up to find herself vaguely becoming the "public enemy" of her dormitory.

The academy had undergone significant changes, with many unrelated people appearing on the island. Even the magicians, longstanding foes of the Elemental Shapers, had established a new Astrologer's Guild on the island. Dean of academics, Professor Wabul, was even discussing the possibility of including magic as a subject.

The Elemental Theory class had many magicians of similar age, and their interactions were generally harmonious.

Oh, and there was a new professor with seven eyes, bearing a name akin to an Evil God.

Su completely couldn't recall when she became the class representative for this course.
