Rowena lay on Miss Keroy's tail feathers, reading the literature she had swiped from the Adventurer's Guild. With this information, she could justifiably cling to Miss Keroy, without having to flap her wings and fly behind the group's rear.

She considered herself slender and wouldn't burden Miss Keroy too much. She and Other Shore formed two extremes; that wolf could never sit idle for a moment, choosing to run alongside rather than sit. According to Other Shore, this was less than one-tenth of a knight's daily physical training.

"I can understand that."

Ethan, compared to the jargon in the adventure manual, had a much simpler way of understanding.

Simply put, some people are born bug catchers, some are Fishing Men, and others are paranormal enthusiasts or fighters.

But in Ethan's view, this so-called affinity isn't necessarily a good thing. True champion-level trainers are known for their well-rounded teams; those who hang on to one attribute at most become one of the Elite Four.

"I originally thought you had dragon affinity talent."

Rowena had an evaluative look; the adventurer's manual mentioned this belonged to the top tier of Summoner talent. After all, dragons are the most mysterious and powerful magical creatures. Plus, they're usually arrogant, and it's almost impossible to form a contract with them without dragon affinity.

But after some intentional experiments along the way, Rowena discovered a startling fact!

Ethan and the annoying Sincaro were complete opposites. Even the caterpillars Rowena grabbed from the bushes happily snuggled into Ethan's arms, eager to join the team.

In response, Ethan could only politely say, "Sorry, the team is already full," to reject the magical creatures' enthusiasm. He even had to tell several bird-like magical creatures following behind, "You all stay in this forest; I'll come back to see you after things are done."

"This shows that even if you aren't an Elemental Shaper, you can still be an excellent Summoner."

Rowena was quite certain; she felt such talent could only be compared to Argos' own son.

"Indeed."

Other Shore, running alongside, chimed in, "Actually, ever since we bade farewell to that dragon, I've been meaning to say."

As a mount enthusiast, Other Shore had mixed feelings.

Every knight dreams of owning a flying dragon as a mount, and Other Shore was no exception. Yet every encounter with dragon creatures so far had ended in disappointment.

Arrogant dragons wouldn't allow any being they despised to ride on them, and yet that single dragon mom directly gifted one of her eggs to Ethan.

"Your situation reminds me of a certain creature."

Other Shore said.

"Oh, now that you mention it, I thought of it as well."

Rowena exchanged a meaningful glance with her, "Old Sen, could your true form be a succubus? Only a succubus could get love from even a roadside caterpillar!"

"No, he's human."

The cat resting on Ethan's shoulder opened its eyes into slits, confidently contradicting the pair's speculation, "Pureblood human."

"How do you know?" Rowena asked, raising an eyebrow in disbelief, "You know high-level succubi can disguise themselves as humans; even the High Priest from the Life Divine Teachings can't detect them. Do you have proof?"

"I do."

"What proof?"

"I've tried."
