The female esper slowly gave a nod, but then she said, "Isn''t it too suspicious that we suddenly joined the Love Sect like this?"

"That''s up to you." Lin Fan said with a shrug before adding, "Make sure that you tell them that both you and him have joined the Love Sect, as well that you will be reporting for both of you from now on."

The female esper once again revealed a bitter smile, but there was nothing that she could say in the face of Lin Fan''s stern look.

So the only thing that she could do was turn on the satellite phone and make the call.

It didn''t ring for more than twice before the other side picked up. With how quickly they picked up the call, it was as if they had already been waiting for the call.

Once the call connected, a cold voice asked, "What is it? You''re early."

The female esper and Adam both seemed to show a trace of fear when they heard this, but then she said, "I have something important to report."

There was silence that followed, but eventually that same cold voice said, "Report it then."

The female esper started to tell the story of how she had made contact with someone from the Love Sect by coincidence and was about to head to Dungeon City to become a disciple.

When she was finished, there was only silence that followed.

"Are you sure that it''s the Love Sect?" The cold voice finally asked after a long silence.

The female esper couldn''t help being caught off guard when she heard this since this certainly wasn''t what she had been expecting to hear. She had been fully expecting to come up with some kind of excuse of why she had made this connection to the Love Sect.

"Are you not sure then?"

When the cold voice spoke again, that pulled the female esper out of her daze and she quickly said, "No, no, I''m certain that it''s the Love Sect and I''m about to head there with them. I just wanted to report in to see if there are any special instructions."

"No special instructions, continue to blend in normally. Make sure that you climb as high as you can in the Love Sect." The cold voice said to the surprise of the female esper again.

She promised that she would, though the look on her face made it clear that she wasn''t sure how to feel about this.

In the end, the cold voice just said, "If you can climb to a high enough place, then we''ll consider giving you a special reward when you come back. The Love Sect is a special existence in the Mu Empire that you were sent to, so it''s a high value target. Make sure that you don''t mess this up."

It seemed that the value of the Love Sect outweighed the danger, that was why the cold voice was so willing to accept this.

In the end, there was nothing the female esper could say as the other side had already hung up.
