Yugioh Card Summoner
CH.673 Delivering goods, getting Skills
“So, what do you think?” I asked the Demon God.
Janina and I had once again jumped to the Demon World, this time with Aerosol cans and one of the AMC device prototypes.
The Demon God was looking a bit different today. We weren’t interacting with him over a hologram, but instead he was in a doll body. One very similar to dragon avatars and my own avatar dolls.
I asked him why use it and he explained that being in the presence of a God can be quite overwhelming, as Gods let off an aura. It made me remember my own God monsters, especially something like Numeronius Numeronia, and I realized that if the Demon God has a similar oppressive aura, maybe it is a good thing we don’t interact with him directly.
Sure I could stand straight under it, but that is after getting used to the aura my God monsters have, and having an Aura skill of my own.
Speaking of auras. Janina can exude one, she just usually doesn’t. It isn’t like the aura of a God where it is always on and they have to suppress it, but instead more like mine where she can activate it when she wants. Hers is about as strong as that of Ra’s, in case you were wondering. Though that is because Ra’s aura causes burns, while Janina’s is just this sense of being crushed. Now that I have my Fire and Thermal Fluctuation Resistance skills at LV.40, Janina’s aura is slightly worse for me. But without them, Ra is worse.
But back to the Demon God. He was testing out the aerosols on some imps that were brought in by some war demons, and he seemed happy with the results. He had also brought a few demons who were under the soul control effect and had sprayed them, and while it worked, it turned out to be somewhat painful for the demons. The Demon God didn’t blame me, but did ask for an explanation, to which I admitted that I didn’t know for sure.
I had a theory. Last time, when I showed off my cards, I activated Remove Brainwashing first. Thus the wasps had lost their effect before they were destroyed. But now they were just destroyed, and this caused some pain.
We were able to confirm this by finding a few more demons who had a small number of wasps in them. Before spraying them, I activated Remove Brainwashing, and the aerosol worked perfectly.
The Demon God was happy with the product after that, but I wasn’t. I told him that I’d redesign it so that it can both negate the mind control, followed by destroying the bugs. That way demons can be sprayed safely. And since I haven’t yet mass produced the aerosol cans, it is nothing more than adding one or at most two more cards to the equation.
Not to spoil the solution, but Armored Glass turned out to be perfect for this. It wasn’t quite perfect on its own, but it negated the abilities of bugs as they were ‘equip cards’, thus already making the demons not feel any pain.
But they were still just a bit dissociated, so I also added Remove Brainwashing to each can.
In total, when sprayed with some of the spray from the can, the cards would activate in the order of Remove Brainwashing, then Armored Glass and last Eradicating Aerosol.

The Demon God requested that I produce some of both, and he was paying extra for the better ones. A 1.5 times the price for the betters.
As for the AMC device, after getting over the shock that it could produce miasma coins, he was extremely impressed. While it apparently wasn’t as advanced as his device, which I really want to see, it was still quite the thing.
I did have to adjust the speed at which it produces miasma coins a bit. I didn’t lower it, but instead had one in three coins teleported to the Demon God. And at his request, the payouts were paid after the device had generated the three coins. At which time two would be given to the demon who had been spinning the thing, and one was teleported to the Demon God’s vault.
… which I now know the location of since I had to make the teleportation magic circle that takes the coins there. But I have no plans of going there. It only contains miasma coins, something I don’t need. If it had the device making them, maybe I’d think about it.
And no. I’m not going to sneak around the Demon God’s domain with the Numeron Code Invisibility and Intangibility combo active. Sure I likely would find the device, with enough time, but I don’t want to turn a God against me.
And while here, I found out that the Demon World is actually quite small. Other than this single city, there are only a few other cities, and a handful of towns and small villages.
Also, the Demon World is flat. As in, a flat disk just existing with a dome over it. And the gravity of the place is apparently because of Gravity Magic.
Not that it matters. I just found it interesting.

Now, as for some skills we picked up with the favors. You haven’t seen her status in a long time, so there are more things than just the skills we bartered for.

So as you may have noticed, there has been no major change with Alice. Sure she has a few new skills, Manamorphic Body, Overpowering Aura, Magical Arms, Fire and Poison Resistance, as well as the two skills she got from the demons, Miasma Control and Miasma Resistance. She did consider taking a few other weapon skills, but held off on it until we’d know how many skills we could request.
I know saying “She is the same as she has been” is disappointing, but it is the truth. Alice has found her groove as the high damage spellcaster, who can also cleave giant monsters in half with her swordstaff.
She is also much better at controlling Overpowering Aura than I am, thus having it at a higher level.
Next up, Wilma. Again, it has been forever since I showed you her status, so expect a ton of growth.

For Wilma, you may also notice some things. I think first and foremost is the blessing from a greater earth spirit. It was a nice boost to Wilma’s Earth Magic, and it basically forced her to undergo the ‘mana circuit awakening’ so she could gain Advanced Mana Control. She was already struggling with her Spiritual Metal Magic, so adding another one on top of that didn't help. Also, apparently you don't need the blessing from that specific attributes superior spirit to get the Spiritual Magic. I assumed you did, but Wilma gained it just fine. But Alice and Lua haven't been able to. I asked Gaia about it, and she told me that since Athena is one of her children and a superior spirit, those who carry Athena's Blessing, and a blessing from one of the greater earth spirits, can use Spiritual Earth Magic.
Wilma's demon given skills are Magic and Miasma Resistance. As well as the five different weapon technique skills. Wilma is a weapon producer, so we decided that she should also be able to wield plenty of different weapons, at least at a very basic level. Because of that, we traded a lot of favors for her to gain those skills. … They also happen to match most of the Star series living weapons, so they will help her when she does her weapon overlay strategy.
She also learned new production skills, Woodworking ,Leatherworking and Construction. They are usually limited to races such as Leatherworker and Woodworker, but since Wilma is an Artificer, she can get them all.
And obviously the others got some skills as well, but I’ll go over them later. Unlike with Alice and Wilma, it hasn’t been forever since their status were last shown.
