I guess I’ll start today off by returning to the adventuring tournament qualifiers. I haven’t mentioned them in a bit, as they’ve been running just fine. But they are coming towards the end, so the best adventurers are getting in some of their final runs in hopes of getting further.

Also, the strategy guide for the qualifiers, which a dedicated adventurer has been making, is quite the book by now. He has managed to write most of the potential opponents and strategies against them up to level 7. He also has noted down things such as no harming or sacrificing innocent people unless you want to face Gorz.

Level 8 and onwards he was missing info, but that is because of how few people actually get there. And those who do, likely don’t want to share the information.

Sadly the person who wrote all of that info wasn’t the strongest, so he never beat level 7 himself. But I’ll see if we can give him a special award at the competition, as this sort of information gathering really should be complimented.

Also, thus far only one person has beaten level 10. Can’t really blame them, but it does make me question things. I can do level 11 myself, as can Alice, Lua and Unika. And naturally Janina can clear level 12. Did we really break the world so badly that we are stronger than every adventurer in three different Kingdoms? And the handful of adventurers who are from the Empire and come to the Kingdoms for the tournament.

Well, I suppose unlimited Level Ups do end up making you powerful. Just makes me question things.

Also also, the organizers actually hired HomeBase to act as transport for all of the adventurers who made it to the finals. We have … not unlimited numbers, but many, many airships we can use, so we are really the only ones that can do something like that. In fact, the problem for us wouldn’t be the number of ships, as I have over a hundred copies of each of the B.E.S. ships, but instead the pilots to drive those ships. Yes the ships can fly themselves, but it is better to have someone there monitoring the ship.

But still, we have over 20 people with Card Summoner, and each of them have been taught how to fly a B.E.S. ship. And as I said, that is the most any single individual, or even organization, has. Even the Crystalline family only has six airships, one of which is too old for any actual use.

And yes, they did lease one of mine. They are the best on the market at the moment, even if you can’t permanently own them.

----------------------------------------

Now, with that info dump, let’s get back to Pack Opener stuff. I still have three open sets that I haven’t fully completed, which is at least 1 too many. So I’m completing Primal Origin today.

That should hopefully also unlock the next feature of the Numeron Code, even if it won’t be all that useful.

So let’s just get to the 200 packs part, and see what that gets me.

Alright. 14 new ones. Not bad.

Sylvan Princessprout is fine. It does the Sylvan thing of reveal, mill if plant. But when it does that, it also places itself on the top of the deck. And if you mill it, it special summons itself with a level between 1 and 8, you choose. So it really helps in summoning the rank 8 Sylvan.

Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion summons a Mecha Phantom Beast Token when it is sent to the GY.

Bujin Hirume special summons itself and can force your opponent to discard when destroyed.

Sylvan Lotuswain can reveal many cards, so it can really help Sylvans get their mill effects off.

Noble Knight Eachtar specials itself and prevents cards and effects from being activated if it is used as Synchro or Xyz material.

Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World specials itself if it was discarded, and if your opponent discarded it from your hand, you also get to special summon a Fiend from the deck. Any Fiend. Yeah. It is busted.

And the last main deck monster is Thestalos the Mega Monarch. It allows you to look at your opponent’s hand, discard 1 card and then inflict burn damage.

Gladiator Beast Nerokius is fine. It is a generic 3 material Gladiator Beast fusion and it does prevent card and effect activation when attacking.

Cairngorgon, Antiluminescent Knight can redirect effects, which could be very useful.

Artifact Durendal is nice just for the fact that it is an Artifact. Those are always nice to study. Also, being able to force my opponents into destroying set Spells and Traps can be busted. I have so many of them that activate when my opponent destroys them.

Orea, the Sylvan High Arbiter is stupid. It is a rank 7 Xyz, and both of its effects are … not that good. You can tribute a monster, look at the top cards of your deck equal to its level, and stack them in any way you want. Which is good for Sylvans, but you really don’t want to tribute with the deck. But maybe the detach effect makes up for it? Nope. You can detach a material, declare a number between 1 and 3, reveal that many cards and mill all Plants. Great, right? Yes it would be if it wasn’t for the restriction. After the effect, you have to return monsters you control to the hand equal to the number you declared. This bird really just hates field presence.

Okay, I have a Spell and two Traps. Hopefully they are at least good.

Forbidden Scripture is actually quite nice. Since it negates all other effects except the battling monsters, it can prevent any outside interference. But since it also uses the original attack and defense, it prevents any buff skills and spells from being used. Which would be huge for me since I don’t really use many, other than Summoner’s Unity and Time Magic to speed myself up. So I can use the fact that my stats are sky high to just overpower most people, even if they might be more powerful thanks to skills and magic.

Escalation of the Monarchs allows you to tribute summon during your opponent’s turn.

And Tachyon Chaos Hole can banish all face up cards your opponent controls.

Now, as you should know, that isn’t quite everything from the set. So let me confirm what I’m missing and set them up in Capsules.

----------------------------------------

And I was missing 6 cards.

Bujingi Sinyou can give an attack boost to a Bujin that battles an opposing monster.

Noble Knight Brothers is nice for a Noble Knight deck, but useless in anything else.

And Majesty's Fiend is fine. Preventing activated effects should negate all Magic, so that is pretty cool.

Artifact Ignition is just MST + set 1 Artifact.

Noble Knights of the Round Table is a Field Spell for some reason. It really should be just a Continuous Spell. But it is pretty good.

And The Monarchs Erupt is Skill Drain that doesn’t affect tribute summoned monsters. So yeah, it is really good.

But that is another set completed.
